I highly recommend the Vevor drill bit sharpener! It's easy to use and puts a professional sharpen on your drill bits up to size 13mm (approximately 1/2 inch). I have used it to sharpen my bits from 1/8 inch up to 1/2 inch. I have the Drill Doctor 750X and have never been that happy with it. I do not see why the DD 750x gets so good of reviews. I find that it in consistent at best and is cheap plastic. The Vevor is made out of metal and is of excellent quality. I have a degree in Metals Technology and have worked many years being a machinist, although that was many years ago. I still work with all types of metal and do some woodworking. The Vevor will be an excellent addition to your workshop and is well worth the money. I wish I would have found it a long time ago. My only regret with the Vevor is that it doesn't sharpen larger than 1/2-inch bit. Buy it, you won't regret it!

it's not extremely intuitive and you need to have some understanding of how a drill bit works. with that understanding and a bit of practice this machine produces some extremely high-quality grinds for the cost. my cheap HF cobalt set now performs like a high-quality US manufactured set. The cost of the bit set and this machine is less than the quality drill set alone. Even included what I believe is a diamond wheel. now I have the confidence to start playing with some carbide bits and see what they're all about. I no longer have a need to be conservative with my spotting bits either as whenever it's critical I need a sharp one I'll have it. imagine always having a sharp drillbit for every job. it doesn't quite support the smallest drill size advertised but I am extremely pleased with this machine one week in

I have to say this machine does a great job of sharpening evenly. The larger the drill bit the easier it is to index, even though the indexing part is finicky. "I" can't depend on centering/aligning the bit as required with the indexing part of the machine but I'm sure there is some room for error, just not much. Drill depth into the collet is good but alignment isn't so good sometimes. Using the directions that aren't great but work, tell you to bottom out then back out to your desired size. I needed to back it out more than that (about 2 turns out) then pay attention that it's correct. The smaller the bit is where it really becomes about useless except for depth and then becomes a juggling act. A word of Caution: to save the diamond wheel, a light touch is needed by taking your time - not to plunge too hard or hard at all - be patience and use light passes. Since Vevor doesn't sell replacement parts I'm not sure where to purchase a replacement wheel which aren't cheap I'm sure, so go easy on it (I haven't investigated this). I gave 3 stars on "Easy to Use" because of the alignment issues, but once set properly it's a breeze to use and it's quite too with the larger motor that is balanced nicely - smooth. It's a pretty heavy unit and I think it's Well Built overall. I sat down and sharpened an index full of fractional and numbered drill bits one day (size limited) and have to say it's a pleasure to use them now. I've used other sharpeners and this by far works better. Would be nice to accurately index really small bits - as mentioned before, the indexing suffers. The split point part of the machine works well also. I haven't experimented with all the split point options, but as set from factory works well. Very nice machine overall. :)

Ik heb me heel uitgebreid verdiept in borenslijpers voordat ik uiteindelijk deze heb besteld. Er staan meer dan genoeg filmpjes op Youtube dus de eerste keer borenslijpen was geen enkel probleem. Het machientje loopt mooi rustig, maakt weinig geluid, hij is netjes afgewerkt, ook de spantangen zijn erg netjes, er zit een extra slijpschijf bij voor Tungsten boren, en het geheel maakt gewoon een nette en professionele indruk. Ik heb er vandaag direct na ontvangst 5 boren mee geslepen, en de werking is dik in orde. De verzending liet wel wat te wensen over, tussen bestellen, zogenaamd verzenden en daadwerkelijk verzenden zat bijna een week! Dat hoort niet. Maar goed, al met al wel een mooi ding, zeker het geld waard.

El afilador de brocas funciona bien aunque los acabados dejan mucho que desear, las instrucciones de afilado son pegatinas, que muchas veces no están bien apegadas y se despegan. también algunas pegatinas de la maquina no están bien en su sitio, apuntan hacia una dirección incorrecta, respecto al útil de afilado. Tendría que estar todo troquelado en el cuerpo de la afiladora, para que no se pueda deteriorar nunca. La calidad del ensamblaje de la maquina, varia de unas maquina a otras, unas vienen mejor ensambladas que otras, por lo que el control de calidad no es muy bueno.

Ich habe mir ein paar YouTube Videos angeshen und war ein bisschen skeptisch. Habe mir dann doch ein Gerät bestellt. Lieferung schnell und gut verpackt. Die Anwendung geht nach ein paar Mal Bohrer schleifen relativ zügig und die Bohrer sind tatsächlich scharf. Für kleine Bohrer ist es etwas fummelig, aber auch das klappt. Für Mitarbeiter die keine Bohrer am Schleifbock nachschärfen können perfekt. Würde ich wieder kaufen
