Love this unit already, doing a great job heating and I know it'll do a great job cooling!

Fired it up at 65 deg in home, set to 61. Air temp is exit unit 38 deg with 102 F going out the hose. Wattage on med is 1060 at 9.6 amps, in high might be a little more but not much more since it’s only fan speed. Peak wattage recorded was 1843 at startup. Sound is 51 dB from 10ft in front. Bought the hose insulation fit good and practical to get the maximum efficiency. While a window unit will always outperform this there are some locations where this is more practical.

This unit is quite surprising. I am remodeling a house in southern Alabama, started in the spring and was looking for a way to cool the house in a high heat, high humidity environment. I have half of the house opened up, and the other half is still mostly closed off. Holes in floor, see through gaps in the walls, brick chimney thats not sealed up etc.. This unit has kept the 520 sq ft section of the house between 69 and 72 consistently. It did raise my power bill, but for the workout I am giving it that was expected. Highly recommend this unit.

It never disappoints! Serve its purpose, quality and price. It a bit loud but love how it automatically on standby when temp set has reached.

This unit was the perfect solution. I was able to make an attic habitable that was insulated, but had no central air or windows.

The unit is well made and it does cool the room. Having said that, however, I'm not completely happy with either the unit or the information that I received about it from Vevor. Specifically, the fan in the unit does not run continuously in cooling mode (i.e., the fan runs even when the compressor is not running). This was an important feature to me because the room is ≈ 230 sq. ft. and circulation is a requirement to maintain cooling even in the hot spots within the room. I couldn't find the information I was looking for within the copy of the user manual I downloaded, so I asked a question on the product page and received an answer "from Vevor" which said the fan does run after the compressor shuts off. I bought the unit based on that incorrect information. The fan runs only for a very short time after the compressor stops before it stops as well. Since I wasn't thrilled with basing my purchase on the incorrect answer I'd received, I then posted an answer to my own question detailing the fact that the Vevor answer was incorrect, so that it might prevent someone else from making the same mistake. When I received the request for this review I checked the product page again, only to discover that my original question and both answers have been removed — there were (according to the page) zero questions asked about the product. I can understand not including the information in the manual. I can understand someone making a mistake in answering a product question. What I can't understand is eliminating the question rather than correcting the answer. That does no service to potential customers. One other item: The temperature displays on the front and the top of the unit are bright enough to function as a nightlight when used in a bedroom. Since I prefer to sleep without a nightlight, I had to purchase tinted static cling patches for both of them in order to be able to sleep and still read the displays. Some sort of display brightness control would be enormously helpful.
