I bought an SH2 and am very satisfied. *Fast shipping and packed with thick molded styrofoam inside. +Affordable quality product. +Fast heating plate in protected aluminum. Easy to clean. +Made of durable materials, enamelled metal parts. +Suitable and durable sensitive knobs for stirring and heating. +Fuse connected to the switch. +Heavy and thus stable. I use it in my fume hood daily. Meets all my needs. Really recommended!! Just a little advice: Buy a few more extra magnetic rods in different sizes, as the one that came with it is perfectly fine, but easy to lose. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this product. /Dennis Sweden

It Is great if you need it for a little budget lab. Be careful with the surface of the plate beacose it is made from aluminium so it can be easily corded.

Economico e costruttivamente semplice. L'agitazione funziona molto bene, progressiva, facilmente regolabile, riesce a gestire volumi superiori a quelli dichiarati.

Is running... magnetic bar inside is to big. Only for verry small apps.

The stirring part is flawless. Simply I think there should be a way to make the stirrer rotate more slowly. Even turning the knob ever-so-slightly makes the motor spin quickly (IMHO). The heating part… well exceeds expectations in that it heats up much higher than the advertised 200 °C (> 250 °C). However, the heating is not 100% reliable, sometimes the heating element won’t respond to the knob, in which case I have to switch the unit off and on (and the heating too). Is not a big deal, but is unexpected. Also, I suspect, though I don’t have measured it, that the 'stovetop' is not completely flat but slightly curved. It can’t be steel, it’s probably aluminium since it doesn’t rust up when heated. Overall, the experience is still great, especially at this price point.
