Overall, this was easy to assemble and it works well. There is one design flaw however. The plastic wheel hubs ride on all-thread, instead of a smooth shaft or bolt shoulder. This will elongate and wear out the wheel hubs in no time. Since there was only 0.03 in clearance between shaft and hub, finding a sleeve would be difficult, so I used a few wraps of brass shim stock around the all-thread to protect the hubs.

Very powerful but not good on gravel with the small wheels. Did get a ton of roofing nails picked up but difficult. Amazing in flat lawns and concrete

Assembly easy, well built. I have one concern - the magnetic box should have the ability to RAISE a bit because this does not work well in Grass or uneven gravel driveways for example. That's why I bought it to use after a roofing job but it's not an easy roll along. I'm going to see if I can buy slightly larger wheels which will give a bit higher ground clearance otherwise you need to scalp the lawn for this to work better.

Upgraded from a lil 13", low power magnet sweeper to this. Great sweeper with adjustable wheel height (comes at lowest setting, which is great for areas cemented, not great for dirt or grass), telescopic handle, and a quick "pull" to release the items you've picked up. All n all, rated 4 stars because of build quality, 5 stars, and adjustability, 3.5 stars, which could use some re-engineering. Important points: Critical to get your wheel height right, especially dealing with uneven ground. the release is not electromagnet. It releases by separating the magnet inside enough from the surface that grabs the materials you're sweeping.

I appreciate the build quality and value. However, my only (minor) issue is the height when used in grass. Even though the grass is cut fairly short, the nails catch and many scrape back off. Changing direction helps raise the magnetic surface, but then it's not as strong. Maybe all of these tools are made this way and it's just the way it is. At any rate, I think it's a good product and I recommend it.

Great product. The magnet is super strong and works well for getting nails out of the yard and picking up fasteners around the garage. Pros: -quick setup -strong magnet -size is great for the yard -easy to release metal from the magnet Cons: -Height adjustment for the wheels requires tools and takes about five minutes to do. Not a big deal if you're only using it on a flat surface, but you will need to adjust when using on grass / uneven terrain Overall very happy with my purchase.

Easy to put together and use. Made pretty solid and comes with a brush to clean the bottom off after using.
