For the money it pretty good compare to more expensive brands. Cannot hold its self vertically, but if you are wanting to drill some holes horizontally its great. Motor is definitely lower quality but i have drill several holes in 1/4” this metal with easy

Preis, Leistung ist Super für diese Maschine. Vor allem dass sich die Drehzahl regeln lässt ist sehr gut. Mein Kaufargument war dass der Bohrkopf, auf dem Schlitten, sich auch noch mal zusätzlich verstellen lässt. Somit gab es bis dato noch keine Probleme, auch wenn man längere Bohrer in dem mitgelieferten Bohrfutter einspannt. Ich kann diese Magnetbohrmaschine nur empfehlen !

It is good for money. I was able to tear the magnet off when I used a 16 mm drill. But it may also be the fault of unsharp drill-bit. It has enough power.

This drill is good value. It's not operationally identical to one that is three or four times as expensive but given the price it's a real tool. I use the drill for stainless plate which means I'm running at the lowest speed setting. I think the speed control is a simple PID controller so when the teeth hit the plate, the PID tries to compensate by opening up a current gate. This results in the rpm being substantially higher than under no load. (I'm guessing about twice as fast but I have no measurements). Under load, the drill is probably turning too fast for my application but as long as I keep the pressure down to keep the material from work-hardening, I can get through 1/4" plate with only a minor increase in heart rate. As with other similar products, I wish the design engineers would give you just a little more room to land clamps on the magnet because you're often needing to clamp mag drills down to make the most use of them (in non-ferrous metals or small parts).

First impression good, made a small adjustment to side steel guides supporting drilling lathe due to a sharp top edge digging into the aluminium rail making small shavings. Once lightly rounded off, this was corrected preventing shaving generation. One particular element me having a 220V machine was the adjustable speed control. I suspect that the speed control circuit has been designed for 110V as any setting above 50% generate a chuck/motor speed way beyond reasonable speeds for drilling and coring. Actually lowest setting generate a speed to high for larger sized core bits. Have not investigated if a 110V/220V selector is available to change over. Beyond this, the machine and magnet works flawlessly.

This is a good tool for a great price. The motor has plenty of power. The electro-magnet does the job. The gibs do however, have too much play in them, requiring a center punch in the metal, for accuracy.

Nice quality for the money, works good. One problem is the motor turns way to fast for boring holes in steel. Should not go that fast.also the drill chuck is way out of Concenrticity. I am going to request a new chuck .

Decent product with one glaring flaw: when you attach the drill chuck, it is so close to the surface that you cannot use a standard drill bit. Needs a different chuck or a re-design.

Drilled over 100 M12 holes with it in the last week and still going strong. Solid little machine, but very noisy / clunky motor. It will do its job, and then let’s see how it goes. At the price, it’s damn near disposable.
