I was very impressed with the quality of this soldering iron. Especially considering the price. Even comes with multiple different tips for the iron itself.

Started working some modifications to my telescope equipment, including computerized systems. It's all DIY, so I have to finally learn electronics, including fine soldering. The cheap hardware store soldering iron just didn't cut it, so I looked for an inexpensive soldering station to try my hand. I found this, and figured I'd give it a try, it's only 35 buck!! I have to say that I'm surprised!! It's well made, the handset is comfortable to hold, the tip is easy to change. The unit heats up almost instantly and appears to hold the set temperature accurately. Maybe not for the professional or every-day use. But for the occasional hobbyist - a great deal.

Product arrived as described in good time. After a few hours of use, the soldering iron is working great, and does not seem cheap like some of the other discount store products.

Works well with smaller wire and smaller projects. Not hot enough to be able to solder connectors with heavier gauge wire. Could not heat up hot enough for a simple QS8 connection

I’m dissatisfied because I got the wrong arms like the screw is too big to fit on the device …. Hopefully I can get the correct ones.

Not impressed. IT,S like a little kids toy

Does not work as promised. Does not have enough heat to solder 0.75mm Copper wires. The arms for keeping the wire in place, does not fit to the machine itself.

At the price point you might think it’s worth trying. I don’t recommend it. Unit went DOA within minutes of applying power. Looking at the internal components very unlikely it’s capable of generating the claimed 80W power rating.
