Nice product overall but if you have anything other than the specified model years, you’ll likely have figment issues and may have to make modifications to or for the locking bracket. Regardless of my issue I would recommend this product for the specified model years.

Fitment 2018 Toyota tundra ; about 30 minute install with common tools They are perfect for the average person. A tad flimsy but fine for me. Everyday hard use I’m unsure of, as I’m easy on things. They keep things organized and dry. I keep off-road recovery gear in one and electric tools in the other. Perfect for a hobbyist or weekend warrior no doubt. (Added cool stickers to mine as well)

The box arrived quickly and was as advertised. I really like it and believe it will be as useful as I'd hoped. It is sturdy and roomy. I like the compartmentalization. I took of the foam packing material and cut it to fit in the bottom to reduce sliding of the contents. The reason for not giving 5 stars is because the bracket for the locking lever mechanism did not line up even with maximum adjustment (passenger side, 2021 F-150 super cab with full size bed). This was fairly easily remedied by drilling 2 additional holes within about a 1/4 inch of the original factory holes. With this modification, the bracket was easy to line up and works great.

Overall box and access to it with a box cover great. Only issue i have is that the self tapping screws provided back themselves out. Need a better fastener.

I bought two boxes, right/left, for my 2016 F150. They are surprisingly well-made and useful. They stay out of the way and provide a lot of lockable storage. These boxes are not heavy duty but they serve their purpose well. Easy install. Box lids are lockable as is the box lockable to the mounting bracket with the provided lock. I would buy again!

I like this so much that I bought a second one for the passenger side of my truck

Instructions were not bad, but could have been a little clearer. The best I could figure on the two round plastic pieces, is they are washers for the bolts that go into the brake area. Also, I had extra pieces left over and the best I can figure with those are they are extra incase you lose some.

So far so good, holds a lot of tools. Does stick out more than thought so no longer 4' between them, but very easy to remove.

I bought both, easy to install. They feel light and you would think super cheap but they hold a lot of stuff and so far work perfectly. I do not lock mine, under hard cover so locked when truck locked. They do stick out a little far so no longer 4' width in truck. That said very easy to remove. On that note, you can lock them (not keyed the same) but easy to just pop them off and walk away with whole box. So far very happy with purchase.

I was planning to purchase the UnderCover Swing Case brand of toolboxes when I came across these. For some reason these Vevor boxes for Tundras were priced very low on the day that I looked, and I couldn't not try them for that price. They arrived well packaged and undamaged. Upon examining them I decided to reinforce the hinge to box area before installing them. From the factory there are just 4 rivets holding the metal hinge to the plastic box, and that design leaves something to be desired in my opinion. I added 3 extra bolts to the metal hinge where it attaches to the box (originally had just 2 rivets). I also added 3 more bolts with huge fender washers on the plastic end of the box adjacent to where the hinge attaches. There is a large steel plate on the inside of the box there, and with the extra fender washers on the outside of the boxes I think this area will now be strong enough for the long haul. Installing the hinges to the bed with the included self-tapping screws wasn't an option for me. First, I don't like using self-tapping screws in thin sheet metal, and second they weren't long enough anyway to go through my BedRug liner. I purchased stainless steel nuts/bolts/washers at the hardware store along with some clear silicone to seal the drilled holes. Removing the taillights gave me access to install the hinge hardware, and reaching up inside the truck fender got me access to the front two bolts. Overall, for the low price I'm pleased. I do wish that the plastic was thicker and also of a stronger type as it feels rather cheap and fragile. I have a truck cap so I'm not worried about theft or weather protection, but the box lids do have nice gaskets to help keep moisture and critters out. I didn't use the included padlocks but rather just put some small carabiner clips as a secondary means of securing the boxes to the sides. I also took some of the foam packing material from the shipping boxes and cut it to make a padded section at the lowest
