It’s just that this product and all the other scales that claims such an high precision with such a wide weighting capacity are a scam. They are a scam, as simple as that. And I have understood it only after I received mine. Let me briefly explain: the scale comes without a calibration weight. Why? Because a calibration weight of 2kg and with a precision of 0.01g costs more than the balance itself. How much? I found one online sold for about 500$, you can find some of them for more. You don’t have to trust me. Search for the OIML standard for calibration weights. For you to properly calibrate this scale you will need at least an F2 2kg weight. And they cost. They cost a lot. So you will have a scale that claims to measure weights with a precision of a centigram, but you will not have a reliable method to verify or trust the measures. I have just learned that such companies as this one, which sells to the public, to the amateurs (as myself), those miracle scales are nothing less than scammers, which take advantage of simplets, such as myself.
