The rope/kit is well made and is a good price.. however the method of attaching this rope to the winch drum is different to the wire ripe i took off... I had to butcher the synthetic rope to get it to fit..

the rope is larger than 1/4", I'm sure if you put enough strain on it , it might shrink a little. it will not fit on my winch. so, I will keep it and use as a rope.
