Basically useless unless youre using gas right away…. Feels like it will explode because there is no venting. It also takes3 hands to pour because the spout is junk!

Disappointed. If you're expecting a Jerry can even close to Military quality, this is not it. Not really even worth the $25. Very thin metal, and cheap plastic spout. Put a gallon of so if gas in it, and the sides collapsed in. Filed for a refund or replacement, and have heard nothing. Just that it's "under review". Wish I had time to resize the pics.

I recently bought 2 metal gas cans. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more. That first 2 came with a metal spout that worked fine The second pair had cheap plastic spouts that leaked no matter how many times I repositioned the spout. CHEAP just like the ones you buy at Walmart.

Brand new and the first time I went to use it… the pour mechanism doesn’t work! I highly recommend buying a better quality gas can.

I purchased two red Jerry cans and to be sure I got them, I also purchased "Shipping Insurance". The VEVOR driver decided to steal my Jerry Cans at the Ft Myers Post Office. I called Vevor and said "I have Shipping Insurance". "Send me the replacement Jerry Cans right away". Instead they stabbed me in the back and refunded my money and blew me off. Buying Shipping Insurance from VEVOR means absolutely nothing. It does NOT insure Shipping thefts like any other Insurance should. I Do Not Recommend doing business with these Thieves. Buyer Beware.

There's nothing wrong with the gas cans, as far as I can tell, other than that lack of a CSA or DOT certification. Gas stations that have attendants around (like Costco and others) will not let you fill these if they see them. Some work sites won't allow them around either. Personally think it is retarded; but, it is the world we live in.....

Warping Plastic Pour mechanism doesn’t work after some months. Gases with 10% Ethanol can diffuse directly through the microscopic pores of a plastic material. This can cause the plastic to bubble, warp, or fail over time, even if it does not melt instantly. Certain gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can physically degrade, dissolve, or permeate plastics through a process known as chemical attack. Because plastics and many fuels share similar hydrocarbon structures, some gases compromise plastic integrity by weakening polymer bonds or causing the material to swell, distort, or dissolve entirely. How Gas Attacks Plastics Dissolution and Swelling: Ethanol acts as a strong solvent that can leach plasticizers from polymers, turning rigid plastics brittle or soft plastics. VEVOR Needs a updated metal cap to keep Plastic Pour mechanism out of the gas.

After 2 weeks of buying this items I still have not received all packages. Customer service promised a Refund so I went to Home Depot and bought what I needed at a higher price of course. Now they refused to give me the Refund and I still haven’t got my full order. Customer service promised me a tracking number and I’m still waiting for it. Stay away from VEVOR

Terrible, has the a plastic spout that has to be inserted and push a piece down before fuel will flow. I have the previous model in red and it is a great gas can. This one isn't junk becuase of the metal container but not useable as is.
