I purchased this ice maker over a month ago, I did not have a water line nearby and did not want to bring a water line to the machine. So I rigged it up to a 5 gallon water jug and connected a water pump from the jug to the machine, and it works perfectly fine. I have had no issues or problems. I created a video review that I've uploaded to amazon of this product but cant see where to upload it here. I get full size ice cubes every 15 minutes, and this machine works like a dream. I love the crystal clear ice that I get, and I bought ice bags from amazon and I fill those up and store them in my freezer when I need to stock up on ice for big coolers. I wanted to write this review to confirm for all of those who have asked if you can use it successfully without a water line, and yes, it works fine with the flowjet 5000 water pump and a 5 gallon jug. If someone from vevor sees this and wants to reach out and show me how I can upload my full review video, let me know.

Great products delicious ice. If you dont have a drain just put a bucket next to it and throw the water on a plant. That's what I do. I am a professional plumber also but hooked up the water with filter which I recommend. Stay up with your filter and you'll have good ice!!!! Thanks vevor!!! Best ice machine ever we don't have to buy ice anymore at the store. We bought this machine because we do a lot events and my husband loves going fishing and this was best investment money can buy thank you ❤️

Great unit. The only downside is that the blue light though attractive happens to attract small flying insects. Recommend changing the color of the led light to white.

Works as advertised. Quiet operation except noise when dumping ice. I especially like being able to pull it out and remove the top for cleaning. The prior ice maker i had to get on the floor to reach up inside to c;lean. This one will be much better.

This is an excellent piece of equipment. Vevor hasn’t disappointed me yet and this was no exception. The materials they use are very high quality. Everything from the compressor to the cabinet to the fixtures. All very high quality. The assembly is great with no issues. It sets up simple enough and you really don’t need the instructions. Cleaning is just as easy. Simply wipe it down and you’re done. A little more work when comes to cleaning the cooling and ice making part but that’s normal. It runs very quiet which is perfect for the location it’s in. It also makes ice fast. A couple hours from empty and you have enough. Doesn’t take long at all to fill the bin. I think it’s a very fair price for the quality and how good it operates.

This ice machine is hands-down the best thing I’ve ever bought for our home. It was so easy to put together, and it makes so much ice so quickly! The ice tastes great, and the machine is so user-friendly that even my kids can run it without any trouble. It’s been a lifesaver for keeping everyone hydrated and happy in this Alabama heat.
