This ice maker started making ice as soon as it was hooked up. I really like that it is connected to a water supply as well as a permanent drain hose. I used to have a small countertop ice machine, and I hated having to remember to keep the water filled. This makes solid ice cubes instead of somewhat crumbly cubes some icemakers make. I use this for my cooler for drinks and lunch for work. I used to have to buy bags of ice, and now I do not. I got the 33 lbs storage model and it holds enough ice for my husband and I both to take a cooler with lunch and several drinks to work. The ice machine came with a waterline that just slipped into the hook up on the back of the machine. The other end of the line did not have a connector on it. I had to get one to connect it to my water valve. It also included a drain hose. I got a thicker hose because I didn't want to worry about the thin included one getting pinched or torn. It was really thin. It would still work, though. It did not come with a filter, so I got an inline filter to use with it. I like using a filter with my water and that includes my ice. I was able to add a splitter to my existing water valve, so I didn't need any extensive plumbing work done. One of the biggest advantages this machine has over some others is the easy access to the internals to clean it. It is designed so you can remove the top and really clean the machine. It does also have a clean cycle, so a deep cleaning isn't needed frequently. But ice machines are notorious for getting yucky and I am glad I can get into it to clean it thoroughly from time to time.

Works as advertised. Quiet operation except noise when dumping ice. I especially like being able to pull it out and remove the top for cleaning. The prior ice maker i had to get on the floor to reach up inside to c;lean. This one will be much better.

This is an excellent piece of equipment. Vevor hasn’t disappointed me yet and this was no exception. The materials they use are very high quality. Everything from the compressor to the cabinet to the fixtures. All very high quality. The assembly is great with no issues. It sets up simple enough and you really don’t need the instructions. Cleaning is just as easy. Simply wipe it down and you’re done. A little more work when comes to cleaning the cooling and ice making part but that’s normal. It runs very quiet which is perfect for the location it’s in. It also makes ice fast. A couple hours from empty and you have enough. Doesn’t take long at all to fill the bin. I think it’s a very fair price for the quality and how good it operates.

This ice machine is hands-down the best thing I’ve ever bought for our home. It was so easy to put together, and it makes so much ice so quickly! The ice tastes great, and the machine is so user-friendly that even my kids can run it without any trouble. It’s been a lifesaver for keeping everyone hydrated and happy in this Alabama heat.
