The item is in an oversized VERY heavy box, heavy even for my strong UPS driver who utilized a dolly to get it from the truck to my house. The product was very well packed with lots of foam around it inside the box and arrived in perfect condition. I don't own a cat and am not using it as a cat litter house...It is a great piece of very versatile furniture with many other ways to use it. I am using it for photo's, printer shelf and inside for some of my many arts and crafts bins... As a cat litter box 'hider' this would work great as your kitty can go through the opening on the right side, in order to get to their 'hidden litter box', great idea/concept. From start to completely finished it took me about 2 1/2 hours - that includes removing everything from the box in my front hallway and carrying pieces into the room I was going to assemble it, and completely assembling it. When I had everything organized by letters on the pieces looked over the instructions, which were 'excellent' to follow, I thought to myself, WOW that's a lot of small screws/parts to assemble, can I figure it all out? I am a 66 year old woman and did it all on my own with NO ISSUES at all! If I can do it, so can you! I recommend a few things that were not in the kit - your own full sized Phillips head screwdriver with magnetic tip and a flash light of some sort as you will need to see inside the base part in order to get the 2 front doors on properly... I feel it is very sturdy and the shelves can hold quite a bit of knick-knacks etc. For MDF board/material its quite nice. The brown color is stylish and blends in with and looks great with my other home decor.

This obviously isn’t heirloom-quality furniture, but I have to say I’m impressed. It goes together very easily and is much more sturdy than I expected it would be. I don’t love the cam locks used to secure most pieces, but there are enough of them that they stay very securely. There are also a handful of screws that go directly into wood, adding a little extra stability. The biggest complaint I have about it is that all the hardware is unsorted in one bag and it wasn’t always clear which to use. Once I figured it out it was fine, but it took a few double-checks. The tiny screwdriver is cute and nice for getting started, but it stripped midway through the project and also left my hands blistered. Grab a real screwdriver for the wood screws.

Easy to assemble just put A B C... together in alphabetical order comes with everything needed. There's a few things missing I would of liked like placement holes to mount the magnetic plate on back of doors and the small entryway step over wiggles it should of had a side screw for support (refer to video). The instructions aren't particularly detailed like the magnetic latch has two sets of screws the flat headed ones should go on the doors flat metal piece and rounded heads on the magnet. While assembling my screwdriver slipped several times normally this would leave a scratch in the wood but these are pretty durable not even a mark.

Der Schrank ansich war flott zusammen gebaut. Die Montage des Regals war ein Kraftakt. Die Rohrgestelle hatten die gleichen Abmasse und konnten daher nicht ineinander zusammengeschoben werden. Da half nur noch abschleifen und ein Hammer. Was noch zu bemängeln wäre ist, dass keine Abdeckungen für die Regal-Schraubverbindungen mitgeliefert wurden.
