I'm a plumber by trade, I've had this camera for over 1 year and I want to explain to you why this product and most likely this company is awful. First. They made me think their product warranty will help me fix this camera. WRONG. The design makes this camera beyond fixable, and it is designed to break. As I said, where the camera head connects to the cable of the camera is so flimsy that with simple usage, the cables get damaged. The repairs under warranty take over three months to arrive at the house. Within a few uses, it breaks again, and now you have to make another warranty claim, which will take another three months to arrive at your house. That broke again by the time they attempted to fix it twice. They told me it was out of warranty. And now won't give me my money back for a problem WHICH THEY NEVER ADDRESSED OR FIXED WHILEEEE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY. Not to mention that when I had this problem, I was not able to use the camera for my business, causing me to lose money on pipe repairs, inspections etc. Absolutely awful design which uses 4 measly soldrerd wires inside a to hold the main camera head to the cable which break upon simple use inspecting pipes. I will say that every other component is reasonably designed and works well. I do like the screen, the portability, the battery. But what is all that useful for when the main part of it breaks constantly? And the thing doesn't work at all? It wouldn't matter if it's made of gold. If it consistently breaks, and they take three months every time to send you a repair that they're pretending to help you with that just breaks again. Don't waste your money.

This camera and experience has been the worst of my 20-year career in the sewer drain industry. The camera stopped working on my very first job in it. After several emails they finally sent me a new camera head and not a full camera like I preferred seeing as it didn't work at all. The camera head made the picture show up after I got it, but it didn't have a 512hz locator on it like my original was supposed to. I have now been emailing back and forth with them for a month and we are getting absolutely nowhere. They told me they're going to send me another new head and I accepted. The next message offered a $70 refund for my frustration but they're making it sound like it was a $70 refund for the camera. I highly recommend everybody steer clear of these guys. The customer service will drive you insane.

Camera works beautifully, self leveling feature is awesome. I haven't used the locate that came with it, I recommend using a rigid locator if you want accurate location. I recommend going with a model that has a stronger push rod, this model has a 5mm pushrod. Works great however on longer lines or lines with several bends this model has troubles getting through. I use mine in an industrial/commercial application cleaning sewer lines and for the price it's a incredible deal. I highly recommend buying this tool.

Good product. Great value. The only Miss and it's a big one is the audio quality is very poor. It sounds like you were too close to the microphone and there's no way to adjust the gain. When recording at a 2-ft distance from the machine, my voice s almost unintelligible. As I am selling my services and the video. It's important that my customer be able to what I'm describing as I'm recording the use of the pipe camera.

I don't have any marked scale on the yellow cable through which the image from the camera is transmitted.

Met name de bijproducten vind ik van slechte kwaliteit. Daarmee bedoel ik de opzetstukken om de camera hoge te laten liggen in de afvoer en dan schroefjes van plastic, dat vraagt om ellende als je deze verschillende keren hebt vast, dan wel los hebt gedraaid. Schroefjes van roestvrij staal zou een aanzienlijke zorg minder zijn.

We purchased to have a second camera on hand because our ForBest camera glitches out randomly. First impressions: The hard case is decent and seems rugged. The metal screen protector and sun shade is sturdy. The keyboard hides the tool box in this model and it is a two hand pry job to remove the keyboard to access the on switch for the keyboard and access the tools and accessories. The instructions are scant. We are still learning what the icons on the touch screen do. They are not all obvious. First use: the reel is smooth. The light, even though it has 3 intensity settings is still dimmer than it should be in the brightness setting. The camera head can easily fold backward as you are entering a pipe or turning a corner in a 4" line. This actually allowed us to see backward down the pipe keeping the camera lens clean. A very odd surprise. I think that might come in handy in dirty lines. The spacing of the rings on the spring made it difficult to pull back out of a 4" sewer clean out because the spring was getting caught on the inner edge of the sweep. I think electrical tape will stiffen the camera head so it won't fold backward or get caught. I will offer more as we use it. For the money I still think it is worth the $900 and will probably purchase another.
