Cord reel is plenty rugged enough for its intended use. Instead of using the 4 included screws I used 2 smaller screws through the middle holes to mount it to a stud. The stud fits perfectly in the mount. The cord extended and retracts easily with no issues, allowing me to reach the entire area with no tangles. A light on the reel and the end of the cord indicate when power is in the cord. I will probably be getting more of these.

Perfect addition to home shop/ garage. Easy to install. Heavy duty construction and cord. 3 way lighted plug end is a plus.

The cord reel arrive well with excellent packaging. It appears well designed and built. The reel operates good. The plastic housing is pretty good and there is metal where needed. I mounted it so the cord hung at a nice height and secured the loose end with a simple screw-in J hook to keep it out of the way. Smooth retractor too. Easily locks once I find the locking detant. The 85'cord length is nice in my 50'long shop where it's mounted near the door. We've pulled out outside for some projects. I feel it was a good buy compared to all others I shopped.

This is a great product. I have it in my shop and it is very versatile for all the things that I do in it. The length allows me to work on projects outside the shop also. Highly recommended and shipping was fast.

These are great. 12AWG ensures it’ll handle most any thing I need. The 45foot length means it can go anywhere in garage and a ways outside. Mounting ceiling or wall works great.

Works so good I put one on each side of the shop.. and no more cords to roll up at the end of the day.. Same as air line reels, you do have to roll it in slow and help guide it in.... Well that's all folks. Sandman..

These reels are mounted to the ceiling and being used in a commercial furniture shop. They lock and unlock very easily. You do have to hold onto the cord as it retracts as it will do so very fast and I think it could cause damage to the housing if not. The cord stop is easily adjustable to allow more or less cord hanging from the housing. The shape of the cord opening and the swivel mount make it very easy and smooth to pull out in any direction. I would purchase again and recommend to others.

Great product, easy to use and has a great reach. The detractors features is a little aggressive but gets the job done............
