Used the cable finder a few times and has worked great. Great price and solid construction. Not something I will use regularly but nice to know I have it and it works.

Buy this to fond therme câble over the house for client and work well. Job done with this tool. Very easy to use and understanding!

I had locates that were expired (from last year) so I had a really good idea where to look, but while I was waiting for the locate crew to return, I decided to give this unit a try for my main gas line, as well as a few other buried gas pipes and electrical wires in my yard. Once you get the hang of this unit, it's extremely accurate, and provides a great help. I was able to get within a cm of the marks the locate guy left when he returned. My gas line is more than 3' deep in hard clay with rocks, but this unit was still able to trace it laterally. Unfortunately depth is a guess. I was also able to trace out wires quite easily, which were at about an 18" depth.

Worked exceptionally well, found the break in the circuit very fast and efficiently. Device is well built with no issues found.

All good, in the process of learning how to use the cable locator. The locator is well packaged and was delivered on time. A nice case and rechargeable batteries are included.

This is my order number 25092100935614164081 I’m trying to Tract the shipping of this order . I have an email stating that it shipped to OnTrac but they have not received it yet . It’s been several days and I need this to complete a job. Please email me or text me what the problem is ! Email is Supponf@gmail.com and phone/text number is 315-657-4433 Regards Fred Suppon

I bought this to trace wiring for my home's irrigation system. Approximately 100 feet from the signal injection point, I was no longer able to trace the wire. The wire is intact (based on continuity testing). so that isn't the problem. The wiring in this system is less than 18 inches down, so that isn't the problem. I checked several other wires where I knew exactly where they ran and they all checked out. So, it appears it can only detect wires if you already know where they are. Very disappointing.

I don't know if it would do what I wanted it for as the wires I was searching for ended up being deeper than the three feet this reads it is good for. they ended up being about 5 feet down.

Tool works good, but thier shipping is slow and customer service will do nothing to help only keep reciting company policies that are extremely different then the shipping they advertise! If you need it fast, ORDER FROM SOMEONE ELSE!

using the product testing in all modes (specified in the manual) it did not detect anything besides the NCV. in one wire mode in max sensitivity it did detect wire over dry wall. in all the other modes, it detected the transmitter wen it was almost touching it, sometimes does not detect the end of the probe attached to the transmitter. it is too expensive to use an NCV detector, nice package that does not do much. for the 2 wire connection, there are products by Milwaukee, Kline tools that cost less and detect the breaker. also there is toner for low voltage (transmitter and receiver) that do more than this product. NOT RECOMMENDED
