I could be wrong but I see this as having a limited usable lifespan. I'm not questioning the quality of the padding, which seems on the loose side of sufficient – definitely not what I would call firm. My concern is that the cover is not removable nor the mat washable. Add to this its purpose (as a tatami mat) — when you keep on the floor, typically for Japanese-style seating. But at least in American homes, most people I know do not require removing the shoes to enter the home, which means this mat to get quite dirty if you have guests or kids and therefore cannot easily control the footwear situation. Also, even used as a traditional tatami mat, which is often used as seating for a meal served on a low table, it would be very easy for this to end up with food stains. And here's the tricky part: while it appears very similar in size to a twin mattress, it is not; it is about 4 inches longer, which means I could not use a fitted sheet or something like that to protect the surface from stains or dirt. And this size difference also means that if one is getting it in hopes of using it as a bed mattress, it probably will not fit because of that big difference in the overall length. That said, it works fine for its traditional intended purpose and looks nice. because it is not super firm, it's easy to roll up. It is comfortable enough for limited seating or to use as a workout mat, so I will get some use out of it, just not as much (or for as long) as I had hoped. one other note: in spite of the fact that it's instructions said to give it something like 18 hours to fully decompress from packing, my experience was that that is overly generous. mine appeared to be fully formed within the first 6 to 8 hours.

Main reason I bought it was to avoid hauling mattresses around and it is excellent at that. It takes up much less space than a regular mattress so I’m very happy. Comfy and easy to sleep on.

It's comfortable and easy to store away.

It is a nice thickness that gives just the right around of cushion. Overall, it is well made. If you're tight on storage space, note that this doesn't condense or get *all* that compact. Personally, I got the queen and didn't plan to roll it up. Comes with a storage bag & straps for tightening the roll up. Also it is a great bang-for-the-buck. I can't speak to how long it'll last as I just got it. But if it is anything more than 1-2 years, it's well worth it especially since a mattress can cost you potentially thousands. It's useful, portable, and stowable. And it's got a lot of other use cases: you're going on a trip & need a portable bed. For visitors or couch surfers. You got young kids & they're having sleep overs. You're living in a studio apartment and don't want to waste room for a traditional bed. Etc.

Bezug verdreht sich leider sehr schnell, sonst super und schnell verfügbar.

I bought the 3 1/2" pad. I wanted to try sleeping on it, but it is only 2 1/2" thick and doesn't work for me.

Egyáltalán nem olyan, mint a képen. A borító textil nem passzentos, gyűrődik és vékony pamut. Nagyon nagy helyen fér el összecsomagolva is.
