J'ai reçu un thermomètre HS Le Sav m'a remboursé Suite à quoi j'ai réussi à le réparer facilement Une broche de la prise reliant le capteur Ir à l'écran était sortie de son logement j'ai pu la remettre en place et le thermomètre fonctionne à merveille. Sinon il est de bonne facture, malgré ce petit défaut ça me semble être un outil de bonne qualité. Je ne peux que recommander cet article et dire du bien du SAV qui à été efficace et compréhensif, (remboursé sous 3 jours)

I purchased this to measure the temperature of metal welds, before and after welding them. It does have a very big range of measurement, which is good. But this thermometer has a complicating facor. It has two laser beams that are ca 2 cm apart. In order to measure something BOTH laser points have to touch the area to be measured. that means that measurements on small areas can be difficult. Smaller than ca 3-5 cm in diameter can be difficult to get correct readings on. Also, measuring on reflective surfaces (like metals etc) can also be tricky since the laser beams are reflected in tricky ways. Overall i am happy with the tool but for my application its not ideal.

Temp gun seems to work just fine. I haven't used the forge to test the upper limits. The laser just needs to go away if it cannot be aligned, it's a simple but annoying issue.

Tested along with another infrared thermometer and a thermal camera,it has 2-5 degrees difference. For the price it is ok but not a professional tool.

Very good value! I tested this at 1100°C against a calibrated oven and it is accurate within 10°C. About 1% deviation throughout the range

While comparing to another infrared thermometer, the reading seems accurate. If I understand correctly the two lasers should diverge at the rate at which the read area spreads, but the lasers in mine converge not far from the lens. Since I am using this to approximate steel temperatures the range is not critical. It would have been nice if it was a flawless tool, but it meets my needs at this time.

Easy to use. Have not been able to verify its accuracy. No case is included so one must purchase it separately

I checked the accuracy of this against my multimeter with a thermocouple probe that I trust. It was generally within 1.5F or so of the thermocouple's reading with E=.95 (default). Close enough for government work. It's bit bulkier than expected, but the display is large and easy to read. Some sort of soft case would have been nice. The top laser is misaligned off to the right of the centerline of the device by several degrees. I tend to take readings pretty close-in, so this isn't really a big issue, but QC seems to be lacking here.
