Baylienr made it impossible to replace steering cable without removing motor so instead I ordered this kit and took a weekend to do thw install. Instructions were very clear but watching videos helped a lot since I was new to hydraulic boat steering. Hardest part was making thw hole bigger in the helm for the new part to fit through. Second hardest was routing the hoses but that is unique to bauliner sue to limited access to the stern starboard area. Im very happy with the end result with almost finger level turning while under way. Makes for much more confident handling when loading and unloading and so far no leaks or issues at all with the system after several lake outings and lots and rough water. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with the bayliner elements with steering cable vs hydraulic. Worth the cost and future proofing against any issues.

Had to replace the ram on customers boat , because the seal replacements you sent , you cannot fit back to the unit , without damaging the seals . You need a special tool to do this , which you dont sell the tool

The Installation manual was a little hard to follow but with help from YouTube I got it done.

Explication de montage des différents raccords,pas assez précis. J ai eu plusieurs doutes lors du montage, préciser aussi la possibilité de changer de côté la purge sur les T Joindre dans votre colis 1 bidon d huile hydraulique.

De bonne qualité mais fuite à l installation

Wow man ! ditch the cable steering unbelievable difference just change it out. The hardest thing was taking out the old cables. I was trying to save them just in case. My opinion is just cut them out tie a string on it so you can pull the hydraulic line through.

Bon produit, facile à installer

Just had it installed a week ago. Took it on a test float. A far cry from what I had previously - cables and pulleys. Made it out of and into a marina well one-handed! 26 foot pontoon with a 150 Merc. I'd go 5 stars across the board but I've only tried it out for a couple hours. The boat is leisure and fishing/trolling on a very big lake in Michigan. This was a quarter of the cost for a SeaStar system! If I get 5 years out of this I will be a very happy consumer! I'll also add that the marina owner told me how easy it was to replace/install, and the helm replacement was very straight forward. He's hooked too, so I'll be asking him in a month or so how he likes his. He does lots of boat maintenance, and if's he's happy, Vevor will be doing a lot more business.
