Overall it works very well. The only thing really wrong with it is that the Nugget trap peeled up and out so I had to glue it back in. The riffles are very aggressive so she needs a lot of flow to work, but once you get her set she's amazing.

Great toy

While this sluice is a good value for price, it would be better with a ramp up plate onto the miners moss, the miners moss just lays in causing a natural bump for material build up, so with a ramp plate installed, i would give it all 5 stars, easy enough fix, just most folks would rather have a more thought out sluice. I also bought the 36 inch one, same design on miners moss. The one in review was the 50 inch folding model, i will also add some drill holes and bolts for in use to prohibit accidental folding when removing from stream There design is tighting the bolts at fold points, this works partly, but a little more secruity would be nice. Overall i still like the sluice at its price point. Just a few tips to make it better. Happy hunting!

It's a great starter kit. The one thing about this sluce is that it comes with miners moss. It ok, but when you're ready for a clean up, it can get heavy. After a couple times out you'll want to upgrade your mat forsure. There goes another 50 bucks or more.

Easy to use good just be a little better on finish but overall good for price

It works for someone that isn't expecting to sluice or capture much gold, difficult to set up without making a secondary frame to support. Found it will collapse when setup in a running a stream or when set up with a water pump and shoveling small amounts of paydirt. Very sharp edges and miner moss is not uniform, has a large gap in moss mats that collects dirt and causes washout. I moved some holes to mount riffles properly, replaced miners moss with larger pieces to avoid gaps, and built a bottom support frame to allow for continuous sluice'ing.

Good quality the only thing I didn’t like was the rubber ripple mat is glued down . It makes it hard to wash the gold out without losing some

This makes for great first timer’s sluice kit. The carpet and mesh provided are OK. You could possibly swap these out if you’d like in the future. This is small enough that it fits in my backpack when I hike in and do prospecting. You can’t really beat the price for what you get.

J'ai reçu la rampe avec de la colle de partout sur le premier tapis qui aussi n'étais pas bien couper donc il y a des trous sur les coter du tapis, les bordures sont tranchantes, dommage pour cette rampe qui aurais pu être une pépite.
