Excellent and solid machine but be very careful with the blade lock latch. This broke on the first machine and then on the replacement it needed vary careful watching as the strength of the handle can break the mechanism if it is still engaged. I am not put off by this because it effortlessly and accurately cut through a pile of greeting cards. The clamp needs to be engaged tightly but it does work well to hold a stack of card in place before cutting. The blade lock latch is a spare part so I am going to order a couple of spares to last the lifetime of the machine. You will need a solid table as this is a very heavy solid metal product made to last for years. Really good but use that blade lock latch with real care - make sure it is off before you put pressure on the handle!!!! you have been warned.

I received a different model than advertise which has a magnetic bar instead of the fixing device thats in the manual of my own machine. I've seen other reviews where people have been told this is the new model, but this mechanism simply doesn't work as it moves quite easily. Most importantly, it doesn't cut properly. The cuts aren't clean and if you add the fact that it's hard to get a straight cut due to the lack of a fixed device, it means it's not fit for purpose. Waste of money.

I am very disappointed in this product! It has been delivered not as shown. It does not have an adjustable, locking paper bar as shown in the picture. Instead, it has a plastic angle with round magnets on one side to attached to the base of the cutter. This angle will easily move allowing paper to be cut at different unintended lengths

I bought this cutter less than 10 months ago. I bought it to cut down greeting cards which are on a card stock. I was surprised that it had a hard time cutting through 10 sheets since it is advertised that it can cut through 400 regular paper sheets at once. I can only cut 6-8 sheets at once only. Anything more it has a hard time getting through. 1) it has now started to cut all my cards crooked 2)the clamp has now started grinding itself inside and leaves shards of metal 3) the clamp doesn't clamp the paper so the paper shifts when the blade comes down to make the cut, resulting in an indent in the final paper 4)blade is very dull only after only using it a handful of times Would not buy and put the money towards something better.
