My wife loved her steel drum. I got her from Mother’s Day her and the kids are playing with it right now. It came a day early thank god .

I will be using this as part of my instruments when I’m doing individual and group sound therapy …. It sounds beautiful for the price… I like to get one in G note

Hele mooie Handpan Drum 55 cm 10 noten D mineur, warm geluid en een snelle levering. Geheel compleet met standaard en draagtas. Ik ben er erg blij mee en beveel deze zeker aan.

Is it exactly tuned to 432hz? I don't know. But I do know that I can't pay $600 or more for an experiment. But I could tolerate what this cost. Sounds way better than I had expected. It takes a bit to get the strikes down, but I'm learning this instrument at a comparative bargain. My kids love to fall asleep to the sound of this. Case is okay, stand is okay, cleaning towel was a nice touch. Packaging was good, arrived in good shape.

Für Anfänger, die das Handpanspielen kennenlernen wollen, kann ich dieses Instrument empfehlen. Zuerst dachte ich, die Töne sind ziemlich schräg. Aber als ich als Neuling mit der Anschlagtechnik meiner Finger etwas rumprobiert hatte, wurde der Klang auch deutlich besser. 2/3 der Töne stimmen recht gut. Wenn man nachmisst, sind die restlichen Töne nicht so sauber. Aber mich hat das nicht gestört, denn insgesamt kann man harmonisch damit spielen und problemlos üben, bevor man sich eine Handpan für 10x so viel Geld kauft, bei der die Töne dann perfekt gestimmt sind. Mein Lernpunkt nach der ersten Enttäuschung war, dass das Instrument erst mal nicht so toll klang, weil ich es nicht richtig angeschlagen hatte. Aber das legt sich nach ein paar mal üben. Ich habe es nicht bereut, meine ersten stundenlangen Handpan-Erfahrungen mit diesem Instrument gemacht zu haben: Wenn man merkt, es liegt einem nicht, dann hat man nicht zu viel Geld kaputt gemacht. Merkt man, dass es einem Spaß macht, dann kann man immer noch auf ein hochwertigeres Modell umsteigen (und stellt dann erst die feinen Ton-Unterschiede oder das bessere Sustain fest, was einem als Laien ohne Messgerät gar nicht aufgefallen ist 😉). Ich habe inzwischen auch eine hochwertigere Handpan, aber diese hier behalte ich trotzdem und leihe sie gerne meinen Freunden aus zum Testen, ob das Handpanspielen überhaupt was für sie ist.

Update! 9/12/26. My son has received the refund due him. If you need a refund from Vevor, the key is to continue sending as many messages as possible, leave negative reviews, do whatever you can to annoy them until they do the right thing. This is a really good company, with a bad return policy/system. If we bring enough attention to this area, it may improve. When my son and I found this, we were excited! Finally a real, large, hand pan that we could afford. When it came a few days after ordering, we were very impressed! The sound was astoundingly good, and in tune with itself (although not in tune with other standard 440 instruments). We played it for a few hours. Imagine our disappointment and surprise when one note in particular slid out of tune, and the other notes also changed tone and started sounding dull and muddy. Now it's basically not worth playing. The weird part was how it was basically perfect when received, then a few hours later, out of tune. We did not abuse it in any way. I opened a ticket with Vevor to try to get a replacement or refund, and after a week of exchanging messages, they stopped talking to me. No refund, no replacement. This is so disappointing, given the quality products I've ordered from them in the past (and thought I would order in the future). Vevor, it's in your hands to make this right. I may have to stop ordering from your website because of one bad product and customer service experience. I HATE to return items, and basically never do it, but because my son spent his own hard earned money on this, I have to advocate for him! Come now Vevor, let's make this right!!
