Fit like a glove. Hope these will survive the Hot Arizona Summer.

Fit like a glove. Hope these will survive the Hot Arizona Summer. One thing I don't get is why it's more expensive to buy these as a pair?! So I just ordered 4 individual ones to save some $ ;)

Exactly as expected

I bought couple of them mostly because of the price. They are heavy and barely move after the car rolls over them. I've had them for couple of weeks and pushed one of them with my foot once as it moved a little out of place. They did come with the hardware to bolt them into place permanently, but I am still not sure if I even want to do that. I saw bunch of reviews complaining about the smell. Mine are placed outside and I didn't notice any particular unexpected odor. Maybe that's an issue if you use them somewhere indoors. Not sure what that particular setup would look like.

The rubber ramps were made from heavy duty rubber. I bought three and drilled holes on the sides to connect them together with eight 5/16 2-1/2" bolts, instead of drilling and installing the ramps into concrete curb. I tried without joining together they moved each time I drive pass them. Once all three ramps are connected they weight over 140lbs and stay on the ground steadily.

Curb ramps are the best but mounting hardware is the worse
The ramps are the best out there. Very heavy duty but the mounting bolts will not work. The piece at the end that is supposed to start the expansion of the sleeve anchor doesn’t work. That cone part will strip out. It’s so light weight tin material and it will not force the sleeve to expand. The only downside to the ramps are the countersink holes They are too deep and it leaves a very thin piece of rubber to hold it down should you manage to come up with a mounting solution. That countersink part should have at least a half inch of rubber material instead of the 1/8 inch it has.

Smooth transition

Great product. Made of heavy duty material. No more undercarriage scraping or dragging. Used the anchor bolts to secure the two pieces together. I don’t think the city would look kindly if I drilled into the street’s drain gutter. For the most part it stays in position just fine. Although, it has ridden the wave of a heavy downpour a few times. I live in the foothills. It never gets past the first park vehicle. Which is always just a few feet away.

Good value right now

At the time of writing these are about $30 cheaper than the newer version that appears to be essentially the same. They are very heavy (about 44lbs each) so be prepared to handle the delivery. The ramps come with 9 expansion bolts (4 per ramp + 1 spare). Each bolt has a 12mm hex head and will need a 12mm (1/2 inch) wide hole that is about 3 inches deep. I'm dinging the ramps 1 star because these bolts are not good. They are cheaply made of soft steel. When splayed they are barely wider than not splayed, so you're in trouble if you drill the holes a little wider than they need. I strongly advise using a rotary hammer drill with one good quality masonry bit. Don't be tempted to buy the cheapos because they will have trouble with concrete even if they claim to work with concrete.
