Havent used it but was disapointed that the dies do not fit a Ridgid or Ridgid do not fit this electric threader..

i’ve used the pipe threader on a number of 1/2 pipes as I was working on a watering system. the threaded works great if the pipe is cut of at a perfect 90 degree angle. also the threads are clean, but you have to keep the die clean during the threading process. so a quick learning curve but the tool performs flawlessly.

No replacement dies from Vevor available! The threading machine is heavy duty and well made for price. Unfortunately the dies that come with it are crap (made from aluminum holder). When cutting my first 1-1/4" thread the cuttings gouged the inside of the aluminum die holder causing it to bind on the pipe. I also broke some of the teeth on the die. Contacted Vevnor and they don't sell replacement dies (Duh!) Fortunately I found on amazon a replacement die from (HFS (R) Pipe Threading Tool Ratchet Pipe Threader Dies). The Die cost was 21.99 and fits the Vevor electric threader. Most import is this replacement unit is a cast steel die holder - much more durable then aluminum. I cut 6 threads easily without any difficulties.

Works good and gets job done. Don’t over oil the shavings will get jammed inside die. With couple of drops of oil will do a professional thread. Definitely beats hand threading

I needed a threader for a job. Rental was $150.00 per day and I needed it for about 7 days. It worked well and is still going strong. Used numerous times. Only issue is it can be hard to get started. But overall worth it for the price.

Το εργαλειο το αγορασα σαν δευτερο,το πρωτο ειναι REMS. Το δουλεψα σε 3/4 και 1 ιντσα,οι φιλιερες που εχει εινα απλα για πεταμα,εβαλα αλλες και δουλεψα. Το δευτερο ειναι οτι αρχισε να χανει λαδι μεσα απο το σημειο που κουμπωνει η φιλιερα,και οι φιλερες απλα φευγουν απο την θεση τους και ξεκουμπωνουν. Το τριτο ειναι οτι ειναι θορυβωδες,και εχει ιδια ταχυτητα και οταν κοβεις βολτες,αλλα και οταν ξεβιδωνεις την φιλιερα. Με λιγα λογια το μηχανημα ειναι απλα για μικρα σπειρωματα,δεν νομιζω να μπορεσει καποιος να παει σε μεγαλυτερο απο 1 ιντσα. Ειναι ενα μηχανημα απλα να το εχετε για ωρα αναγκης,δεν κανει για δουλεια,για τα λεφτα που εδωσα,ειναι οκ,μην περιμενετε να βγαλετε μετρα,θα σας μεινει στο χερι. Παρτε ενα επαγγελματικο και αυτο σαν back up.

Used this to thread gas pipe from 1 1/2" down to 1/2" pipe. The smaller pipe cut the threads good , but the 1 1/2" ,1 /14" ,and the 1" pipe threads had trouble half way thru chewing up the center thread and I even made sure we used enough dark pipe thread oil.sometimes I would put it in reverse for a few threads then forward again to finish up the cut.

To my disappointment, the machine tripped every circuit-breaker. after inspection it became clear that the seats of both carbon brushes weren't perpendicular to the commutator. Because they are (probably) inserted in the injection-mold process, they weren't able to be turned or twisted. therefor i had to manually sand off some of the brushes (which were luckily too big for the distance of the commutators contact points). After that it functioned without tripping the circuit breakers. If you don't want to fiddle around with the mechanics, you should invest in a more expensive threading machine.

We purchased that threader for purpose of very occasional 6/4" and 2" threading. Forget it. For these sizes, the machine is totally useless; it overheats immediately. But we should have guessed, given the extremely low price.

NO sirve. Literal luego de 15 roscas reventó el dado de 3/4. Adicionalmente la maquina está tirando grasa. No me quiero imaginar con un tubo de 1 1/2 o 2".
