This item is not worth the money, don't buy their description of high-grade HRC55-62 hardened bearing steel, effortlessly handling heavy loads and high pressures, I tried to cut some threads on 3/16" rod and it would not cut them. I had used a tap & die set from Harbor Freight to cut the same size threads on the same rod about 2 months ago and it worked way better than this set from Vevor. I should have borrowed that die set again instead of buying my own

1/2 13 die thinner than rest. Also size not marked on it. Case squished taps falling out.

I received the tap and die set within the promised delivery timeframe and it arrived complete and undamaged. That’s where the good part stops. I had to use the m10 tap to cut a thread into a piece of steel. I drill an 8.5mm hole as required for an M10 tap and I used the handle that you secure the tap into. Before I had finished the tapping process the handle snapped. I was only tapping a thread into a 5mm pice of aluminium. I have had to go out and purchase a new handle to be able to continue using the taps. I was really disappointed as I was optometrist that this was going to be a really good set. I’m fortunately this was not the case.

Ei leikkaa vaan enemmän valssaa kierteet. Liekö vain maanantaisarja minkä sain mutta surkea on. Olen hionut osan tappeja oikeaan kulmaan ne leikaavat. Jos olisi ollut leikkaava niin hinta laatusuhde olisi loistava. Mutta nyt olen todella pettynyt.

Don’t buy it. The threads are bad/missing on some taps.

Good for thread chasing but not good for thread creation / cutting. Nevertheless, good price for what they are

Comparing these to an SCA set I found the quality of the tools felt a bit lower, not a huge difference. You can tell by the size markings on individual taps and dies that they come from a range of factories which doesn't inspire confidence for quality control. The box looked good, but unfortunately it arrived damaged. Some of the pieces came loose during shipping and caused a couple of sections on the inside of the case to get cracked. Overall, not bad for the price, but they should secure the pieces better for shipping.

Always using a tap or die. Bought because it was cheap. On opening it for the first time pieces fall right out and don't stay put. Only used once on a 1/4 20. No drill bit guide included. Good if your into cheap
