This is a five star budget awning, not to be confused with a five star high quality $2k awning. I would have a hard time getting the materials for a DIY awning for the price of this Vevor 270 awning, which is what I had considered doing. In a market of very expensive options this might be a good choice for someone on a budget. The base is a well made and very solid extruded aluminum and the hinge bracket is heavy duty providing great support. It mounts up easily with the slots and provided brackets. As a budget awning the arms are simple tubular aluminum but they work fine with the support pegs that just flip down. The awning cover itself is impressively thick. I really expected thin material but this stuff seems quite durable. The stowing cover is very thick with super heavy zippers that I’ve had no issues with. FYI, you can remove the ridiculously huge logo with some acetone and a rag. The only cheap thing I have found on this budget awning are the items in the tie down bag. This is definitely an area I don’t mind that they cheaper out on because it’s just the guy lines and the stakes which are easily replaced. Great budget awning at a great price.

I used this awning for my Ram Promaster Camper van. Since the van is larger than a SUV or a car, The awning needs to cover a larger area than for a small vehicle. An awning for a RV is usually around one thousand US dollars. It requires a roof rack to install and adds more weight to the vehicle. This awning is not even one hundred dollars and covers very large area. Since it is very large, I purchased magnets and suction cups to attach the awning to the van. I also used stronger ropes to tie the pole down to the ground. It did not move at all under strong wind. For large detachable awning, the trick is the in the awning setup accessories.

Extrêmement satisfait de mon achat, le auvent latérale 270 ° côté conducteur est vraiment de bonne facture. À ce pris là je ne pensais pas pouvoir trouver ce type de auvent. Le tissu est de bonne qualité la structure est solide. Il manquerait à Vevor de simplement rajouter en option les parois du auvent afin de finaliser leur produit. Compter cependant sur 2 à 3 semaine de livraison contre les 2 3 jours annoncés.
