I purchased this anticipating digging post holes for my property in Arkansas. Finally got the opportunity to use it. As it came, I was not able to get it to run efficiently. Hard to start with no power. I figured out that they'd secured the throttle cable too tightly to the handles. Once this was resolved, this beast was ready to run. Our property is very very rocky. This became an issue because the auger has a lot of torque and power. Hit a stubborn rock and it spins out of your hands with no notice. Hurt my left hand when the auger stopped but the engine said keep going. The throttle is touchy and hard to control while maintaining a firm grip. I finally got the knack and succeeded in drilling my holes. Still not an expert but I also now use knuckle protecting gloves to save my hands. I'd definitely recommend this product. Very powerful. I'd also issue a caution about hand protection and not being too aggressive in drilling. With practice this is an awesome piece of kit.

I used it once so far and am very pleased. First, it came very expertly packaged. Major parts had bubble wrap and were cushioned by custom made cardboard blocks and dividers. Assembly was very easy and they supply all the required tools. They also supply a spare spark plug and throttle lever. The throttle lever appears to be cheap plastic so the spare is probably in response to complaints. I put gas in it, pumped the bulb, and it started up easily. It digs well but like all handheld augers, when you hit a rock it yanks the handle out of your hands. I am a little concerned about the auger itself, it is only lightly welded to the shaft. Time will tell how well this holds up.

I got this auger to do my porch posts. After 29 holes this auger ran great! After the first hole I had to adjust the carburetor because it was bogging bad but after that it ran perfect!

Gas Powered Post Hole Digger, 52cc very impressed! put up a 100ft fence line at my camp in northern ont full of roots clay and rock etc ran perfect lots of power and easy to handle defiantly well worth the price made solid. remember to hold on tight this thing can dig thanks again vevor!

The ground where I live is very hard packed clay and light small rocks. I purchased this Auger after seeing it on a few YouTube videos in the hope it would work in my soil. I am happy to report this little Auger works well and is an excellent buy. It does require some pressure when digging through tough layers but it does get the job done, It will stop rotating when it comes up against a large rock or gets jammed, this is a plus as it prevents too hard of an impact to my wrists and arms. I find it has a perfect balance and is not overly aggressive like some others I have used. The Auger came expertly packaged, required minimal and simple to assemble, I used the supplied measuring container for the mixed fuel and now with one pull fires right up reliably. Excellent product for a very low price!

I think it is a good buy for the price so I'm honestly not gonna say anything to bad just wish I knew this. The only complaint I honestly have is the trigger is real cheap plastic that I think feel like will break just by grabbing it. Other than that I honestly couldn't be happier.

So far so good this thing seems to be a beast. Gas powered post hole diggers can rip your arm off it's better to have two people two strong people. I do it by myself but I go slow and let off of it hits a rock because it's not clutched and it will spin you around in a circle or take your arm with it. Just a big power tool that needs to be respected. That being said I dug a bunch of post holes already and holes for flowers for my wife. For the money you can't beat it most of them are 3 to 400 at the minimum. I'm definitely looking into more vevor tools
