I bought this 55lbs thrust trolling motor for my 14ft Sportpal Transom canoe. The five speeds are nice and it has lots of power for my application; one complaint is the built in battery meter is not terribly accurate. It changes with the speed setting but does give a estimate of the remaining battery life. The three reverse speeds are useful. Wish I had used them on a few occasions in rocky, shallow currents. But the prop is no worse for wear and withstood some unintended abuse. Overall build quality seems solid; hopefully it will work well for years to come. It is light, easy to carry and very quiet. I am using a LiFePo4 50ah battery; nice consistent power and if you don't keep it in fourth/fifth speed too long it can last several hours.

Perfect for my rowing boat! Sturdy!

Beau produit pas encore testé en conditions réelles. Etonné de ne pas trouver de sécurité type homme à la mer. Si pour une raison ou une autre le pilote tombe à l'eau, le moteur ne s'arrête pas et continue sans lui sans même un aurevoir. Un peu compliqué pour trouver des accessoires de rechange type l'hélice.

Fonctionne très bien pour mon annexe gonflable de 3 mètres avec une batterie LiFePo4 24V 100Ah qui offre une autonomie largement suffisante pour une sortie pêche de quelques heures. Le faible poids de ce moteur permet un montage facile sur le tableau arrière de l'annexe (attention le poids de la batterie est dans mon cas le triple de celui du moteur !). Le réglage de la profondeur est également facile à faire, même une fois sur l'eau. Le seul bémol serait sur le mode de fixation de l'hélice avec une goupille trop facile à perdre si comme moi vous démontez l'hélice à chaque sortie. Globalement je suis très satisfait du rapport qualité prix de ce produit.

Très Bon produit, il faut seulement se rappeler qu'il s'agit d'un moteur 24v il faut acheter la bonne batterie qui va avec 24v, Je l'ai essayé. Je suis satisfait.

Vas très bien je suis satisfait de mon achat et pas cher aussi j’ai une chaloupe de 14 pieds et 2 personnes à bord alors il va très bien!!

It worked very well on my 14.5 foot fishing boat. But on the way home from my first trip I secured the motor like I always do on the trailer and drove home about a 20 mile trip. I guess I must have hit a bump and it turned the trolling motor on. By the time I got home the motor was running and very hot, it even melted the prop. Needless to say it is completely burnt out now. It won't run at all. So to anyone else put a cutoff switch on it or pull the power plug. I towed my old motor for 16 years the same way and never had it turn on. I am sure this would not be covered under any warranty. So i got a good boat anchor.
