I wanted a beer mash brew system but never thought I would be able to afford one. This is great!

On 1st use, it was a pretty decent experience. I left it @ 1500 Watts & the entire process from heating 5 gallons of water to transfer to fermenter took just under 7 hours, 2+ hours of that was recipe Sacch' mash / mashout / boiling at temperature and another hour to cool to 75F. So 1/2 the time was heating to temp, goodly part of that on the initial 5 gallons of water (20 Amp / 1800 W might shave an hour on heating to temp). Cleanup is another 1/2 hour. Others have noted the need for 3/8" ID tubing and a fountain pump for the heat exchanger (most little pumps are 1/2" OD outlet - slip a 6" long chunk of 1/2" ID tubing over the 3/8" ID tubing to/from the heat exchanger, you'll be good). Used ~8 lbs of ice in a water bath, 16-20 lbs. would make that go quicker / better. Used 5% (by weight) rice hulls in the mash, no problem w/ sparging although screen did get coated pretty good & rate did drop some through the process. Also used the sparge pump to circulate during boil, not sure if needed but had no scorching & pump didn't complain so all good seems. 6 weeks to 1/2 ferments then bottling, to be seen but that part is on me. Anyway, cool.

I love the brewing machine it works awesome. It's well built and sturdy. Really enjoyed using it easy to use.

I was a little skeptical about this, but I had read of similar units costing a lot more that people fell in love with. Now that I've run a few batches through it, I'm sold. Making full grain batches is so much easier using this system I can't imagine going back to the old manual methods. The temperature control is excellent, the pump useful in so many ways. Cleans up easily too. The materials it's made of are good and heavy, it'll last a long time. The only caution is to not use grains with too many fines, they tend to accumulate on the bottom and throw off the temperatures. Overall, it's great.

Can’t complain have everything I need except grain ,hops and yeast.

Works as advertised, love it, brews great beer using extract or all grain.

Ordered Jan. 3. Received Jan. 7. I have made two brews so far. One is completely done and kegged the other is still fermenting. The blonde Ale I made was the forest as it was a SMASH and I thought that would be the easiest way to test the machine. I hit high end of projectes OG amd the beer came out great. The stout I made is still fementing but really worked the machine. There was a lot of grain amd I should have added rice hulls. It had trouble draining during the mash. I had to baby sit the machine so it wouldn't over flow. I got the low end of projected OG. Overall I happy and have been recommending to everyone i know who is still using a kettle. Brewzilla jacket and whirlpool fit the unit.
