Acquistato il prodotto, è arrivato in tempi rapidi. Tutto secondo le aspettative. La macchina funzione bene per pezzi di taglio medio piccolo, sia in lunghezza che spessore. Più difficoltoso lavorare tavole lunghe (oltre 1,5 m.) per la mancanza di appoggio in entrata ed uscita. Meglio essere in due per maneggiare pezzi lunghi. La macchina lavora bene anche con legni molto stagionati, pur rispettando i consigli per gli spessori. Purtroppo dopo alcune sessioni si è rotto l'albero di trasmissione della taglierina. Immagino un problema strutturale, che rientra in una casistica, perché la macchina non ha fino a quel momento avuto problemi. Chiesto assistenza on-line ho avuto un supporto impeccabile. Mediante foto e video è stato individuato il problema e la casa mi ha inviato il pezzo di ricambio senza costi aggiuntivi, essendo la macchina in garanzia.

Couldn't beat the price. Have everything else, just needed a planer. I shopped around for many products and read all the reviews, didn't need to spend on the pricier planers for what I need it for and it comes with a stand! Not much in the way of bells and whistles, but it works great! When I first got it, I checked all the adjustments, actually they were right on, so on to the first test. I sent a couple different woods through and checked them for snipe. Not bad maybe a little in the beginning and the end of the last board! Fairly quiet. So the things I don't like about it is (1) dust collector hookup is some funky size, I took about 3 times around with electrical tap to make it tight on a shop vac hose. (2) dust collection is right over the exit for the wood, so I used a 90 fitting, no biggie. (3) The gauge for thickness is pretty worthless, but I don't need anything that precise. Other than that, this works great, easy to setup, nice level table, and it has a stand that comes with it! Here's a tip putting the stand together, lay out the parts and remember it sits in the stand, not on it.

Specifically purchased this unit for a project to take a whole wall with slab wood and dark stain job applied and resurface and remove the old finish. It worked great. The trick was to find the right setting to take off the old finish and leave a well-planned surface. The trick I found was to raise the inlet higher then the peice of wood, insert the wood. Lower to unit unit it meets the wood service. Back off 1/2 turn to remove the wood, then 1 complete turn back down. Then run the wood through and worked great. I did a whole wall about 35 peices and it worked great. Used the shopvac with the supplied waste manafold and it worked well also.
