I purchased this roof rack and waterproof cargo bag to store clothing for 5 family members for a 1000 mile road trip to Key West for a vacation. We first stored our clothing inside large vacuum sealed MAGIC BAGS both to decrease volume, and “just in case” to protect from moisture. The rack and the cargo bag performed beautifully. We encountered rain, but inside the bag remained perfectly dry. The reason for the 3* on quality, and not a 5* overall was a defective hand nut that would not thread onto the U bolt. That was a defect of only 1 out of 12 parts, and I was able to use the rack by purchasing a $4.00 wing nut at Ace Hardware. I will attempt to have the hand nut replaced by VEVOR and report on the results later.

Hyfsat enkel att montera, lite udda fastklämning på lasträcket kan jag tycka, men verkar fungera. Snygg och bäldigt bra för kostnaden.

An sich alles super, außer das dass Windschild bei meinem Dach sehr hoch ist und somit sehr viel Wind Geräusche entstehen. Was cool wäre wenn man ein Windschild hätte was ich in der Höhe verstellen könnte.

Just installed my roof top rack and noticing a few things 1) There are insufficient instructions for installation. We had to go online and look at YouTube videos of other people and other brands to properly install. 2) The extension racks attach to the brackets on the outside rail only. The cross section pieces in the center to not connect to each other or have caps on them. So there are gaps between the pieces that can cause gear to snag. For the second issue, we will have to add a pool noodle or tape on them but I’m not sure why these pieces would be made so they don’t connect at every point. I didn’t notice this when I purchased it but it does show on the pictures. Just not sure why that would be something the customer needs to address. Seems like a major flaw.

Great value, very well built. Looks great on my Bettle with Led Light bar. Will be buying another one for my next project.

Lediglich die riesige vevor Werbung ist störend, jetzt lasse ich mir einen großen Schriftzug anfertigen, den ich da drüber klebe

relativ zügiger Versand, gute Verpackung aber eine sehr kleine und somit schwierig zu lesende Aufbauanleitung. Nachdem passende Querträger gekauft und montiert waren ließ sich der Dachkorb mit viel messen auch ordentlich positionieren und befestigen. Leider rosten Schweißpunkte bereits nach wenigen Tagen im Freien bereits. Das ist der dünnen und nachlässig aufgebrachten Beschichtung geschuldet - Schade!

Price was good , similar look as the one at Princess Auto with the extension. This one includes the extension that you can use or not. Chose it over Princess Auto for the joining plates having a star cut out over just plain otherwise look same. Similar size I believe but cannot confirm. I sanded the Vevor name off and sprayed a coat of paint over front plate. Its painted on and not just a decal. Rust starting within a week at seams. Fair bit of wind noise. I wanted to mount lower like others have done but could not due to cross bars on my vehicle being too wide.

Im satisfied overall. The basket is good quality and tightens down well. I have a telluride and can hear some vibrations around 40-50mph but nothing at 70 and up highway speeds. The logo and advertisement gives it a bad look, so I gave it 4 stars. Wipes off easy with nail polish remover though.
