Very nice sharpener and all I need for my uses. Would be nice if it could sharpen to a bit smaller sized bits, but it covers most of what I use. Better instructions are really needed. The grammer is terrible. The worst part is the section describing the placement of the pins for different sized bits in the 2nd step for tip splitting. There should just be a table saying where to set them for different size ranges of bits. Basically, it's just trial and error now. But, sill way better then anything else for twice the price.

This has worked very well for my needs. I struggle with the smaller bits by hand, I lost my sight recently, so this is helping a lot. I did find it finicky at first, the setting dial to set the drill up is not matching the size of the bit. Now I just leave it where it is ... which is halfway, pull the bit out and make sure it's level with the flats on the holder. I also had to adjust the in and out of the thinning / splitting on top. Once I did that, it's been perfect. The instructions are poor, but there are enough videos to get you started. I probably should have bought the larger grinder. I have not used the diamond yet, the CBN is perfect for HSS. None of my carbide drills have been sharpened yet.

El afilador de brocas funciona bien aunque los acabados dejan mucho que desear, las instrucciones de afilado son pegatinas, que muchas veces no están bien apegadas y se despegan. también algunas pegatinas de la maquina no están bien en su sitio, apuntan hacia una dirección incorrecta, respecto al útil de afilado. Tendría que estar todo troquelado en el cuerpo de la afiladora, para que no se pueda deteriorar nunca. La calidad del ensamblaje de la maquina, varia de unas maquina a otras, unas vienen mejor ensambladas que otras, por lo que el control de calidad no es muy bueno.

Machines works great and have no complaints on it. Directions could be a lot better for some people that haven’t used a machine like this.

Ich habe mir ein paar YouTube Videos angeshen und war ein bisschen skeptisch. Habe mir dann doch ein Gerät bestellt. Lieferung schnell und gut verpackt. Die Anwendung geht nach ein paar Mal Bohrer schleifen relativ zügig und die Bohrer sind tatsächlich scharf. Für kleine Bohrer ist es etwas fummelig, aber auch das klappt. Für Mitarbeiter die keine Bohrer am Schleifbock nachschärfen können perfekt. Würde ich wieder kaufen

The Vevor 13B is one of those rare off-shore products that really works, and works well. Right out of the box I was able to take a cheap drill bit I had on hand, sharpen it and put on a split point (technically thinned the webbing). The sharpened bit easily drilled through some 3/16” plate steel with little effort. The Vevor is sturdy and well made, and the collet has close tolerances so it fits snugly in the sizing and grinding openings. I took off a star for the almost complete lack of included instructions and the horrible (nonexistent) support on the Vevor website. I asked a fairly simple question, and after 4 days of AI-generated blather I turned to Youtube where I found several excellent videos describing the differences between the 13A and 13B, as well as tutorials on how to use the machine. The Vevor works so well that it actually takes longer to watch the videos than to sharpen the bits yourself. But watch the videos, they make using the Vevor a snap. Overall the Vevor 13B is excellent addition to my shop. I hate dulling a bit on a weekend night and having to spend 30’ driving to buy a new bit, or waiting until the next day if the stores are closed. This takes 2’ and I’ve got a new bit ready to go. The obvious comparison is the Drill Doctor. I have a Drill Doctor, but it is a toy compared to the 13B, and costs almost as much. No comparison, the Vevor consistently produces an excellent finish and a fast cutting bit. The Drill Doctor takes longer and is not as reliable; in my hands about half the time I have to take a 3rd or 4th pass with the DR, and sometimes even that does not make a useful bit. With the reliabilty of the 13B bit, the DR will go on marketplace or the scrap heap.
