Great fermenter
8 Gallonen
Great fermenter, easy to clean and easy to move. I brew upstairs and ferment downstairs, easy to carry down when full. Bottling day is smooth with minor sediment transfer.

Excellent fermentor at an approachable price
8 Gallonen
Just bottled our first batch using this fermentor and it was such a nice experience compared to the plastic bucket method we’d been using. Couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking to step into the stainless steel world. For the price, this thing packs in a lot of thoughtful features that make all the difference. Quality is great - fully expect this will last as long as I’d ever need it to as a casual brewer.

Great Fermentor
8 Gallonen
I used this for the first time today to make Amber Ale. I boiled up the batch in a Vevor 5 gallon brew kettle (Another Great Product, built like a Blichmann). I/m using 2 DMEs, and 2 different 1 pound grain adds to do a "mini mash" and it comes out indestinguishable from a BIAB all grain.
I like the volume makings on the inside of the fermetor. They help alot and are pretty accurate. (I checked).
I also checked for leaks by filling it up first. (Please do this),
It was too high, so I jammed that cork/air lock all the way down so it fit in the fermentation chamber.
I'm glad I put the feet on, you need to do this or it will get wobbly and leak. It's pretty solid. I run it out to the garage on a handtruck and lift it into the F.C. (top loading floor model freezer).
The fermentor cools off quickly because the steel radiates the heat much better than the plastic bucket I was using. I spray star san in it, let it drip down and drain it. Then I pour the hot wort into the fermetor which helps sanitize it too. I add refrigerated water and then cools further . This is a lot quicker than using the plastic buckets . The only complaint I have is the thermometer does not allow the chiiller coils to drop all the in. I think I could get them all the way in but I would have to thread the probe through the coil and then back out again.
I make 6 gallon batches so you get 5 gallons of beer at the end and then can harvest /rinse/reuse your yeast. I think the conical bottom will help maximize beer yeild and minimize the waste when harvesting yeast.
Thats about it.
