definitely good buy for the price in comparison to big name brand extractors use this for welding and plasma cutting in my home shop and does a good job

I used this to extract fumes from my garage while painting a car. It works well and is easy to use. It's a great little exhaust fan and I keep finding uses for it.

The unit had bent legs. They were welded on bent like that. Very odd that this passed quality control. The extension cord is way too short, maybe 5 feet long. I do like that the extension has a built-in breaker. I like the 2 speeds. It sucks smoke and dust well. I would have liked the 16 inch unit but they seem to always be sold out. I use this for exhausting laser cleaning smoke. The 10 meter duct is very handy to have and compresses down to a manageable size. Overall great product with minor annoyances. Would buy again.

I bought this product and I am happy with all the functions and performances of it. But right now the same product is being sold for $172 I would request I refund for it.

Pros- Like the dual speed and fan size. Cons- When I first turned the fan on the fan blade was hitting the side of the housing. Had to disassemble and tried to re-adjust the motor mount so the fan blade would not hit. Could not get enough adjustment. Ended up replacing the 5/16” bolts what 1/4” bolts to get more adjustment in the holes. Tightened everything up and so far so good. The flexible hose appears to be designed to go on the intake side of the fan. If you choose to put the hose on the exhaust side of the fan there is not much of a flange to attach the flexible hose onto but it can be done.
