Bonjour, après réception et déballage de la ponceuse à bande,j'ai constaté un levier de blocage cassé et la roue qui entraîne la bande est voilée, en effet on peut constater la marque de la roue d'entraînement sur le haut de la caisse. Great little grinder! Despite the sparse instructions I was able to set up quickly (~30 min) and get going. I recommend watching tutorials on YouTube to get the most out of your grinder. The vfd was great (I did stretch a filter over the motor to prevent metal dust from getting in )but the table was small and I made my own larger support table. I recommend placing strong magnets under the table to draw away filings. Versatile and adjustable I kept finding new ways to use it while sharpening a project knife. Great for rookie users. I suspect I'll get lot's of use for years.

I appreciate the value for the money but wish it had more options for different grinding radius. The VFD is easy to use and adjust, and the planar is easy to swap for the wheel.

Other than some loose fasters, seems well built & packaged. Definately useful

I bought the 2x82”, fixed speed version, and here are my initial reflections. Pros + Affordable + Fast shipping & solid packaging + Very sturdy frame & components + Highly adjustable + Powerful + Good website + Expected to be easy to maintain, repair, and complement (everything is easily accessible, removable, and adjustable) Cons - 1/2 achoring points for the base is located partly underneath the belt and is hence difficult or even impossible to use (but the other point should be enough) - Short power cable - Non-isolated power switch housing (will collect dust) - Draws alot of amps on start (a 10A fuse is barely enough) - Nearly flings the belt off the machine upon start, even after the belt has been adjusted (it usuallly self-centres after a few seconds though) - Sturdy = heavy Note * I’ve read that others have experienced poor electrical wireing but mine was fine, with sleaved and accurately positioned wires * The table and back plate are on the small side - just about sufficient * Make sure to adjust the belt by turning it with your hands before turning the power on or the belt will definitely come off * The user instructions are minimal but most things are self-explanatory

I don't use it for knife making. Just general metal work. Overall a good and stable machine. Some older YouTube reviews talk about no on/off switch. That was apparently on the older machines. Mine has a good on/off switch. Heavy duty. If I have a complaint, it's that the speed is extreme on the high side. It runs so fast that the vibration makes it somewhat dangerous. I've bolted it down as tight as possible and checked every nut & bolt for tightness to try & reduce the vibration from it's extreme speed but to no avail. I'm now looking into a router variable speed controller to try & reduce the speed a bit. The one I have is 20A and blows the fuse as soon as it starts up. So I'm trying to find one that has a 30A fuse. On startup, it pulls a LOT of power so a dedicated 20A circuit breaker is a must.
