We wanted an ice cream maker that we don't have to worry about keeping a bowl in the freezer. The built in compressor is great. We can start some, go do a few things and an hour later it's perfect. It stays cold until you turn it off. It's pretty quiet and built well.

Incredibly easy to use and make great ice cream with 3 ingredients or more and you can't beat the price too.

I tried another ice-cream/yogurt maker and this one is the best. Very easy to make yogurt. Just add milk, one tbl spoon of plain yogurt, put on mixing mode for 5 minutes, then press yogurt mode. 12hrs later you get a great yogurt. Just place the yogurt in a strainer, to get water out, leave it in until you get the consistency you like. Then, enjoy!!!! Ice- cream: run the ice mode for 10 minutes, (so the cream doesn't start turning into butter), then add your cream and flavoring, press ice- cream function and wait until it beeps. The maker keep the ice- cream and yogurt refrigerated, so you can make the yogurt overnight and it still cool. The ice- cream stays also cool until you're ready to serve.

The ice cream machine works awesome. Supper easy to set up and use. We have made multiple flavours and has not missed a beat.

I have always wanted a compressor ice cream maker, and this one was definitely the right price for features! I love the pre-freeze feature....no need to place cooked custard bases in the fridge for hours......within 30 min it was at 34f.....then just add the mixing paddle and hit make ice cream......within 30 minutes it had expanded nicely. Added the extra ending items.....mix another few minutes, turn off, pull the pail, clean off the mixing paddle, fill 2 tubs for the freezer. A few hours later, very tasty ice cream. I have only used once, so only time will tell how long it will last, but so far, Vevor has impressed with other items I have purchased. The only negative I have is, there is no where to hang the power cord for storage, as this is not something we would have on our counter top all the time. Packaged very well. The included ice cream scoop is a waste of time, degrades the overall feel of the product. If you are wondering if you should bit the bullet, I would say most definitely yes. Note, they have an upright version as well, which I would have preferred, Oh well. Get yourself a good Ice cream book like "The perfect Scoop" or "Hello my name is ice cream" To truly understand ice cream making. The manual it comes with is woefully inadequate.

Machine works great for small batches. Easy to clean. Relatively quiet. Good value for the price. Preferable when compared to units requiring that containers be frozen first.

I have made multiple batches of ice cream and this machine never fails not only its great it so easy to use..just dump all the ingredients into the machine and it does all the work and less than an hour you have a wonderful tasting ice cream.

You should read this review because I'm a very experienced ice cream connoisseur. I bought and used regularly a Breville brand ice cream maker about 5 years ago. Before that, I've used other various ice cream maker machines since I was about 5 years old. I'm known among my friends and family for making the best ice cream around. This Vevor machine is far superior to any other machines I've used. It freezes ice cream twice as fast as the Breville. This Vevor machine cost me $145, The Breville machine was $500

This ice cream maker is of very good quality and easy to use. Would recommend to every one who likes ice cream. Very reasonably priced for home use.
