Dock ladder

This ladder was a great price but there is an issue with the rubber being under the bolts when first installing. The bolts became loose quickly and we were lucky not to lose any. After cutting the rubber away from the area of the bolts on all steps and resecuring the ladder is much steadier and more secure. I would recommend anyone do this prior to installing it and it should be done by the manufacturer.

I thought it would have been made from stainless steel, it has been in the water for awhile and the metal has gotten a little rough feeling. Just not sure how it will standup after it has been in the water for a couple of years. Time will tell.

The rubber matting on the steps is very thin and after minimal use the rubber tore away from the bolts holding in place. Expect to replace the rubber mats on each step soon after you buy this ladder.
