I love this thing. For a 66 lb'er it puts up with everything I dish out! There's nothing wrong with this little anvil.

The weight and general appearance of the Anvil was very nice.
Upon dressing the edges I noted some deep chips from the casting that took a bit to clean up. The Hardy hole had excessive metal I had to carefully sand out. This excessive metal was a bit above expected clean up.
I’ve yet to run my hammers and steel on it but it seems solid and my bounce test was very exceptable @approximately 80%
Time will tell how well it holds up but so far I am not disappointed in the general appearance

Overall very good for the price, slight casting defect on the Horn - there is a dip that is slightly too deep to grind off and the finish was not very rounded, but not that big of a deal to correct with a flap disk. The face finish was also not great, but again a very easy fix. Would like to see the Pritchel and Hardy holes maybe pre beveled and deburred but not that important.

Great little anvil for forging blades, had to dress the sides they were to sharp but THATS normal both the Pritchel and hardy holes are handy. Thank you for a overall good product.

Ordered this anvil to add to my anvils. This anvil will do the job needed with very little work to relieve the edges. It's a good size anvil with a nice horn that has good taper. The hardy hole edges needs a little filing and its ready to receive your tools. Great price!
