First and foremost this is by far one of the best looking air compressors on the market! It's the perfect size and weight to move around and it is very quiet. The one thing that I did that is not mentioned in the owner's manual is break it in properly. This is simply done by opening up (or better yet removing it) the drainage valve on the bottom and letting the compressor run for 15 minutes with no back pressure (make sure you do this first before turning it on for the first time). This will allow the piston rings to settle in properly. The other thing you'll need is a 8mm wrench and socket to attach the feet. I would also like to point out that Vevor stands by their products should you have any issues.

Nice quality machine. Works very well. Like the colors. I would recommend to any of my friends or family. And also it's really quite as well. Love that about the compressor

This tough little shop compressor does everything my much larger shop compressor did. Builds pressure quickly, quiet, much more compact and takes up less floor space. I had series doubts about the reviews I read about this product but they were all legit. For everyday shop use, tires, blow gun, inflators this is a great compressor.

This is for the 4.8 gallon (18 liter) Vevor oil-free air compressor. I would give it 5 stars except for the instructions.Bottom line, I like the unit and so far I'm happy with the purchase.Got this yesterday (Oct 2024) and managed to figure out how to put it together myself and blow out my hoses before winter. It works well. There are a number of issues however that need addressing.Instructions lacking* The instructions don't tell you to screw in the air filters and whether to run the unit with these filters open or closed. I am assuming closed; I think you open each to clean or replace its filter.* Instructions say to attach the pull rod (it’s welded to the tank) and attach a handle (there isn’t one), both instructions are unnecessary.* The cushion foot doesn’t attach the way shown in the instructions, you have to reverse it so it can be attached. It can’t be screwed in the way that's shown in the instructions.* The instructions don’t tell you to connect the quick-release connector or how to do this. You need to use some 1/2 inch plumber’s tape (teflon, not supplied) to wrap around the threads to get an air-tight seal. You tighten this using a 11/16” wrench (not supplied).* There is no "ball valve (3)" that I can find that "can be used directly."* On this model you pull up on the switch to turn the compressor on, push down to turn it off.Descriptions lacking* There are two pressure gauges, and the instructions don't say what each means.* There is an adjustment near the gauges, it's orange and it turns and has a + and - on it (a regulator?). It arrived loosened/unscrewed, but the instructions don't say what this is or how to use it.Putting these last two points together, I think: one gauge tells tank pressure, the other gauge tells output pressure, and the adjustment knob with +/- (regulator?) changes the output pressure. Have bad this compressor for over a year now and it is still working great for me. Still quiet and still reliable. Would definitely buy this again. It has just enough volume too run my 65amp plasma cutter attached too my home made cnc table, not enough too let it cycle. It just runs if the plasma is running and that works fine for me and this application.

my compressor came a couple days ago, i unloaded it rite off the back of the fedex truck and put it in my garage. i opened it today and found the fitting on the line from the compressor pump to the regulator and tank was snapped rite off but lucky that i still had my old compressor to rob parts off ,so we got it fixed and finished putting together seems to work real good very quiet thank you VEVOR.
