Schlechter Geschmack im Wasser nach dem Destillieren. Für einen Wasseraufbereiter inakzeptabel. Die Silikondichtungen stinken furchtbar.

L'appareil fait trop de bruit pour mon appartement, je n'apprécie pas le temps de distillation ni la chaleur que cela émet. Je voudrais vous le renvoyer d'ailleurs.

It works well for water distillation, but is a real pain when distilling isopropyl alcohol. Initially set at 93C as to avoid hot output, then output almost stopped after about 45 mins so set it at 94C, and stopped again, up one more degree, then another and another till I had it up to 97C. Constant monitoring is not what I expected. Finally after about 5 hours, the tailings began. I got around 1 litre of 50% compared to 1.5 litres in the 12 ltr (6 ltr fill) VEVOR thumper keg in about 2 hours from cold start. Huge difference. There is no carry handle, so carrying it when hot is very dangerous.. No internal temperature monitor/thermometer. It cycles on-off instead of maintaining a set temperature, but this appears the norm for most "cheap boilers" and urns, which this is. It is not a good alcohol distiller, but maybe a good vegetable steamer and suitable for mainly water filtration . A waste of money, and a huge waste of time for so little output. Stick to water cooled distillers as they outperform this sad air-cooled piece of junk by more then 3 X times (Time + output + constant monitoring) It is advertised as a water distiller, and this is all it is designed to do. So advertising was not misleading. Not an Alcohol distiller. A very expensive vege steamer at best. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

The build quality is really poor; the stainless steel tank looks like it won’t last long after just one use. Previous models have had the same problem: the tank cracks and leaks water. It’s really bad, really bad. I wouldn’t recommend it to my family or friends.

Well it looks pretty, but that’s about it. The seal began leaking after the third time using it, the condenser is inadequate for cooling, you end up getting vapour from the spout, and with no temperature control there is nothing you can do other then turning it on and off. I wish I had just spent the extra money for a quality one .

Never buy this rebranded crap. Bought directly from Vevor with additional 2 year warranty. Distiller ran one cycle and wouldn't turn on again. Contacted customer service. Was told they would send a replacement part and I could take the unit apart myself and replace the part. After questioning that, I was offered $40 to go buy the part and install it myself. Next day I was offered $80 to do the same. After asking why anyone would buy a warranty if you can't get a replacement, I was offered a full refund so I took it rather than arguing. Cost of the part? $2. Customers don't mean $2 to this company so stay away.
