Most people have issues because they don't have a large enough cooling water set up to keep the cooling water dissipating the heat. I use a 55 gallon drum of cooling circulation water to the condensing coil pot and that seems to work fine. I am using this for mostly water and Alcohol (Not the drinking kind). It works well and essentially this can run all day long as we use Distilled water for drinking water and our pets (Our water is heavy calcium and Iron content so we distill then add back in essential minerals). Temperature is pretty accurate. Checked it with an external thermometer.

Good product I am satisfied with this product. Better than what I had before. Easy to use, quality alcohol producing.

Haven't used still yet but it sure seems to be made well. Instructional book seems a bit confusing but managed to figure out how to use it. Price was very good

Utilizzato per estrarre olio essenziale di lavanda, ha fatto ottimamente il suo dovere. si consiglia di utilizzare una pompettina sommersa (tipo quelle per acquari) per un ricircolo continuo dell'acqua e cercare di mantenerla sempre fredda con frequenti ricambi. Prossimamente proverò con la distillazione delle vinacce! :-)

Utilisé la 1ere fois pour faire de l'hydrolat de thé du Labrador. Mis en fonction rapidement sans problème. Beau résultat. 2e fois hydrolat d'achillée millefeuille. Encore une fois, pas de problème. Très facile d'utilisation. J'adore

I have been able to adapt this unit to run on my home wood heater / stove by adding an electric fish tank water pump, large water holder to cool water heated in distillation of steam in copper tubes in top pot, meter long silicon tubing to carry distilled water from the outlet to the collector bottles on the floor, heavy bar stool to hold water cooling container nearer to the height of the wood fire hotplate and of course glass bottles to collect the water and keep it from plastic contamination. I noted that you have the electric pumps in other models and supply silicon tubing in the kit. I should be possible to add these things to an order along with the other things I found I needed to add to make my system work automatically. I also found it difficult to adjust the tap on the input so the water did not overflow from the top condenser pot, but this might be overcome with a second fish tank suction pump to draw the water down to the recycling tank.
