Bought this glass media stand last year. It came very well packaged. Zero damage to shelves! Its a fantastic media stand as the rear of the Yamaha receiver is fully accessible. There are 8 Paradigm speakers plus sub woofer. Lots to wire! Easy with this media stand. The stand holds a Yamaha receiver that is very heavy fits perfect. There is a Yamaha CD player on the shelf under the Yamaha. And best of all the Paradigm center front speaker fits perfectly on this media stand.

This isn't a bad solution, but I had an issue with the poles as they assembled being stripped out. Since I bought it and waited to assemble I missed the return window. It's also heavy and takes up a bunch of space. I ended up using it for a while then selling it cheap and building something custom that worked better for me. That is why my review is middle of the road. This could be an affordable solution that works well for others. It just wasn't optimal for my application.
