First off it uses the cheapest hardware (4.8), the adjustable pieces should use pins.. They have pins on the rest!.. SMH. The threads stripped out of the foot pedal with very little torque.. Again, cheap thin tubing that’s threaded. Lastly, when you have a shock in it, it tries to tip over! Why wouldn’t the legs extend out towards the work area? I don’t want to bolt it to my floor, so now I have to make a better pedestal, get pins and weld a nut in the tube. Oh, and the ID of the spring “cups” are too thick. They hit the body of the shock so makes it difficult for a coil over.

I bought this brand new from beavers when I got it everything seem normal assembled. It would use it found out that it didn't have any fluid in it so then I filled up with fluid just to find out that the release valve doesn't work it just stays in the release position the whole time it never pops back out and when I tried to get help, the chat just wanted me to find the order number or look up the webpage URL so that way they could find it. I guess I don't know I guess my description in the model number wasn't good enough and then when I wanted to go to the return he wants a video also, this is absolutely outrageous. When you're in the field you don't have all this extra time to find all this extra BS. I've been relatively happy with most of Vevor products, but this one might make it to where I don't buy from them again.

I bought this because of the price, a quarter of the price for other stand up strut spring compressors. Again, you get what you pay for. Bottle jack failed to have enough power to compress the springs for my Titan XD front springs, 1/2 ton truck. The sliding/rolling bracket for the lower seat, the one attached to the bottle jack, started to dimple the vertical column. as well. I have read where others have gone to HF and purchased another bottle jack, but I fear if I was to push the tool any further a catastrophic failure would occur. I did give 5 stars for price, features and ease of use, just poor materials for the workload it is claiming to be able to handle. I have requested a full refund and they have "generously" only offered me $41 USD back. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN SMALL CAR, UTV/ATV, ETC. TYPE OF WORK.

This thing exploded on pump four of its first try. Pushed the jack through the insufficient base. These douche bags will drag you through the mud so they don’t have to stand behind their product. Refused to accept return because the box it came in was no good and had been thrown away. I wouldn’t buy a single thing from their catalog.

This piece of equipment failed on the very first try almost taking my finger off. The plunger that allows the pressure to be released would not fully disengage, it engaged sufficiently enough to get good pressure on the strut spring but it disengaged on its own because it wouldn't fully engage because the quality control for the product was insufficient. The plunger would not fully disengage because the paint and machining of the surrounding area did not allow the product function properly. Basically a piece of junk and dangerous. Would not recommend at all. Still trying to get my money back but I'm not sure if customer service is going to get back to me or not. If they don't I guess I can file a lawsuit with the federal court system. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, hopefully they come to their senses and reimburse me my $140.

Does not at all do what it was meant to do. Supposed "4.5 tonne press" could not even just basic car spring. Was ridiculous, do NOT at all recommend this product. Looks pretty but huge waste of space and money.

Purchased to do the struts on a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander. Struggled to compress the spring and then the hydraulic jack just gave up. They dropped the price $26 just after I purchased it and now I am waiting for warranty. I had the take the struts to a suspension modifier the finish the job, that cost less than the spring compressor but now I am out of pocket for a useless piece of equipment waiting on warranty. It looks the part but did not even last 1 strut. Really hoped the tool would be good but sadly DISAPPOINTED.

Also beim BMW hat es nicht funktioniert! Ich musste zu meiner alten greifen mit er es dann einfach wieder ging. Wir haben es dann auch bei einem Golf IV probiert und ging auch nicht da die zuwenig zusammen presst! Kann ich leider nicht weiterempfehlen!

Quality as I found out, turned out to be only external in appearance in my case. Overall this tool seem robust enough to get the job done safely. The 2x2 upright support that the lower spring support rolls up and down is too thin walled. I pre-ran this tool with no load/strut installed for function and was all good. With strut installed and beginning the compression process, about 1.5" into the compression cycle, the upright support kinked/buckled from force of lower rolling support bracket rollers. The struts I wanted to compress are Bilstein 6112's with standard 600 lb. coils for a Toyota Tacoma. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the job. I have photos of the bent up upright support, but I'm unable to figure out how to get the dang images uploaded. I'm thinking that this tool is probably better suited for a regular passenger type car. I very much like doing my own maintenance on my vehicle's and looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and get a proper Branick 7600 spring compressor.
