Great saw, but will not cut to 5" on a concrete slab with the blade guide installed
127 mm - 356 mm - 2 800 W
Great Saw. Every thing that other comments post about is true -- it is a terrific value for the price, although it has gone up $40.00 in price since I bought it last week (due to tariffs, I assume). It cuts very well and is easy to use. I plugged it into a 20 amp breaker circuit and it never tripped it, even with the deepest passes that I could make. I recommend wearing a respirator when using it although the dust is minimized by the water feed system using a small pump and a bucket of water. But . . . . the 14" saw does not cut to 5" depth on a concrete slab when the guide is installed. Around 3.5" is what I was able to obtain. Whether you want to risk taking the guide off and trying to get more depth is up to you, but I would not recommend it. Nevertheless, 3.5" was deep enough for me because the concrete easily breaks even though the total depth of the concrete was actually 4 to 4-1/2". Because of the depth issue, I would rate it at 4.5 stars out of 5, but I rounded up because I otherwise think it works really well.

The 14" Electric Concrete Saw REALLY works great, lots of torque. The price can't be beat especially when it comes with all the tubing and the water pump! PLUS a 14" Concrete Blade... I'm going to try it out with a metal cutting blade that is also a Diamond Based Blade. I don't think it will have any problems... I really like the design as instead of a direct drive off the motor it goes through a heavy duty 90 Degree gear set before the blade attachment. Much like the gas powered Maniac Saw used for cutting all kinds of material in construction business. It even has a nice set of wheels to draw it through a piece of concrete smoothly... If you want to use it with a base that allows you to adjust the depth it comes with that.. The only concern I have is the blade cover doesn't completely cover the blade when not in use which can be a hazard when setting it down after a cut is made... Most saws of this kind have a spring loaded blade cover that snaps shut as soon as you remove it from the material being cut... Much like a 7 1/4" Powered circular saw... So be careful when setting it down if the blade is still running... Other than that I would still buy it again and I probably will so I have one for CONCRETE cutting and one for STEEL cutting... I wouldn't use a fiber based blade in this saw nor a carbide tipped blade either without the addition of a additional cover for safety reasons. *** BE CAREFUL*** There is a reason I am comparing it with what we like to call a MANIAC SAW... One thing I forgot to add is there is a small bracket that helps hold the handle on 2 of the 4 screws do not have much of anything to grab onto thread wise. The hole that should be threaded goes completely through the handle as if it was made for a longer bolt and a nut. In my case it came loose as I was checking all the bolts to make sure they were tight... I couldn't tighten these 2 bolts as there are no threads in the handle to do so. Since the holes went strait through the handle I just got longer bolts and used locking nuts and this took care of the problem...

Vevor Electric Concrete Saw
I had a more expensive Harbor Freight saw which didn't cut as well as the Vevor one. ALso the water feed on this one has a pump whiich is must more effective that the Harbor Freight one. Worked like a champ cutting through 6" slab. Oh, and the kicker, Vevor includes a concrete saw blade which didn't come with Harbor Freight. A much better saw for less. Pay less get more !

I was reluctant about buying the saw thinking for the price it can’t be much of a saw. But I was pleasantly surprised. The saw did everything I needed and did it well. The water system is cheap but it did what it was designed to do. I would recommend this saw people who need a saw on a budget.

Cut through 4" thick concrete front walk and replaced crumbling section with paving brick
127 mm - 356 mm - 2 800 W
Success was achieved by first reading the reviews and doing the following taking advantage of the saw's features: 1) Power: The 14" saw's cord is tagged (suggests)120VAC 30Amp circuit. So rather than challenging the house wiring I used my portable generator with a 120VAC 30Amp breaker. 2) Depth: Limited the depth of cut to 1" for each pass so not to bind or slow the rotation speed of the saw blade. Used the saw's base plate to control the depth with each pass. 3) Speed: Travel speed was kept low so that rotation speed of the saw blade remained high allowing the saw to do the work. 4) Weight: The saw's 35 Lbs is well balanced for both cutting and transporting. 5) Cooling water: Cut using the saw's excellent cooling water delivery system that has a shutoff valve at the saw. A five gallon bucket was used as a sump. Cooling water allows for faster cuts, dust control, and flushes out the kerf. 6) Blade: The saw's included diamond blade cuts easily and was a bonus as a separate 14" diamond blade can cost $50. 7) Visibility: The saw's guard design was such that the marked line on the sidewalk was visible during the initial pass. Visibility continued during subsequent passes. 8) Cost: Comparable 14" concrete saws can cost 5x. A rental would have been $100, compared to this brand new saw with diamond blade and cooling system at $170. A great value. 9) PPE: Wore Muck boots, hearing protection for noise, and safety glasses. Cooling water resulted in no dust, so no dust mask was worn.

Cut me some blacktop!
Everything went well. It will cut! I used a bucket and the tiny pump they give you for water supply, but it ran out twice. I will rig a garden hose fitting for long cuts. Also last time I rented a walk behind , that was more comfortable since I'm over 60. I will probably figure out a way to put a handle on this thing so I can use it while standing up.

Mr.
Easy to use, but you need 30A breaker to operate it. Otherwise everything as expected. Cheaper to buy than rent.

Mr
Fantastic saw. Was planning a project and for the cost of the rental I would have been half way to owning this. Works just as it should and isn’t too difficult to understand even for a diy like myself.

Concrete saw
Great saw cut through the concrete slab into the bank vault in no time. Just use a bucket of water and and extention cord. Quieter than a gas saw.
