Awesome equipment. This is the first time I use a flat plate heat exchanger. It performs way beyond my expectations! The 5 x 12 x 50 plates has NO trouble transferring 500,000 Btu per hr at about 30 gpm and 33 ⁰F temperature change on the boiler side. I am running the floor circuit through the other side at 13 gpm and 77 ⁰F temperature change. I believe the transfer efficiency is 95% or better. It is much heavier than I expected. That is a good thing! Nice and solid. Clean, precise threads. No leaks. I used Hydraulic Female Pipe Thread Swivel fittings as compact, sealant free, leak free, connections. Very happy! Would definitely buy again.

Sendung ist heil angekommen (obwohl recht schwer), die Verpackung ist ausreichend gut (noch etwas stabiler mit mehr Polsterung könnte nicht schaden). Die Verarbeitung sieht gut aus. Die Zahlen (auf dem Papier) sehen vielversprechend aus durch die hohe Anzahl von Platten. Somit alles gut.... ABER die Anschlüsses sind 1 1/4 NPT - also konisches USA Gewindemass. Da wir in Europa aber meist Zoll "G" (BSP) haben (andere Steigung und nicht konisch), passen diese also nicht zueinander. Daher muss man dafür Adapter finden. Und da wird es richtig schwierig - diese sind nämlich nicht zu finden zu normalen Preisen, oder so teuer das diese mehr kosten als der Wärmetauscher. Hier muss man also kreativ werden oder sich diese selber anfertigen. Wer diese Möglichkeiten nicht hat, sollte sich lieber eine Alternative suchen! Mir ist auch nicht verständlich - wenn dieser Wärmetauscher in Europa verkauft wird - warum der Hersteller nicht gleiche einfach die Adapter beipackt - kosten in der Herstellung nicht viel und würde das Problem lösen.

The unit is very nice, the brazing looks good and the straps are useful. However, it s NBSP (straight) not NPT for all of the 4 connections. NBPS is very hard to get a good seal to NPT, and also results is almost no thread grab. I am taking off 4 stars because of this so people are aware of the NBSP vs NPT issue. If you are installing in a location where some leaking is OK, this is the unit for you! Left is stainless nipple (with taper) right is unit (no taper).

I have ordered many things from Vevor and never had any issues until this order. This would be a quality piece if the fittings were machined correctly. The correct NPT fittings would not thread on to this heat exchanger. I contacted Vevor about the issue and they offered to refund about 1/3 of the price, I refused and they offered about 2/3, I refused and they refunded me 2/3 anyway. I told them that wasn't acceptable and they then offered to refund the remainder if I confirmed but they closed the chat and I wasn't able to confirm. I didn't have to confirm the first refund so I don't know why I had to confirm the second refund. I had to start another refund ticket and they promptly responded that they issued the refund but that hasn't happened yet.

WE NEVER RECEIVED THIS SHIPMENT. IS THIS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY? WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK.
