Unit itself is very good quality and works well, the only issue I have is the power cord is very short.

I am impressed by lifting ability, however my unit does not stop quickly. It kind of winds slowly to a stop whether you are lifting or lowering. This means it is hard to stop with any accuracy lifting or lowering. Once it stops brake will hold in place, but it is hard to stop right where you want it. An example would be lowering an engine into a car. This takes up and down small adjustments which my unit will not do. May be I'm missing something, But mine will not stop and go accurately. Overall the hoist is realatively robust in its design and heft. highly portable. Lots of features and the both cable controller and remote work well but not what I would call precise control in stopping. Only two real complaints about this hoist: 1. Its loud, very loud in my opinion if you are in side. 2. From the hook where you attach it to your ganty in my case to the drop hook where you would attach straps or chains is very long. I had to raise my gantry up an extra 18"-24" just for that reason alone. Ultimately those are the two main reasons why I opted for a Vevor manual chain hoist, lower profile, and quieter. In the future I may go with a horizontal mountal electric hoist but for now I am good. If portability is a requirement then this is a great choice.

Does the job so far no issues. I use it to hoist my snowmobile to do work or maintenance.

This hoist is pretty good. The quality is good for the price. You need a pretty high ceiling depending upon what you want to lift as the overall length from the mounting block to the bottom of the hook is pretty long. Also, the hoist continues to pull for 1 or 2 seconds after you release the button. That's pretty annoying. It seems like it should have a hard stop as soon as you release the button.

works fine , only this is the power cord is 300mm long and you need a ladder to get up to plug it in. it did what we needed it to do.

Work great !! Easy to use... Great for lifting things up off the floor or loading them into a ute. Not the best for fine movements as the winch overruns a little after the button has been released.

Tried letting the down and up a few times before lifting something heavy .I guess it's normal the smell that come from the device .I lift about 60lbs with no problem. Later I will try 200lbs and if it have problems.
