It was a relief when the shipment arrived and I felt the heft of the box. I was worried this cutter was going to be lightweight and not stand the test of our 1300 sf flooring project. It worked beautifully throughout our two-day long project. The cuts were perfect on 8mm thick vinyl planks and even the 3-dimensional trim pieces. One reason I purchased this product was because it came with a sharpening blade. We never even had to use the sharpening stone. And then there is the price; it couldn't be beaten!

Top quality product, heavy and well designed. Cuts my seven millimeter hybrid flooring like a knife through butter completely silent.

I'd used a miter saw in the past, but the massive clouds of dust that got EVERYWHERE were just a no-go for me on this job, so decided to get this. Wish I'd bought one years ago now!! Takes a little bit of practice on the long cuts (try making one full cut, then slide down about 80% for the next cut, allowing you to line the blade up in the previous slice). Short end cuts are best done in one quick downward motion (vs easing into it) for a clean edge. Have a 'chip brush' handy to clean up the blade after every couple of cuts as the debris builds up on the movable blade very quickly.

I can't compare it to professional cutters that cost much more but this one is light weight well built and considering the price it is excellent. It is sharp, light, quick to put together and pull apart, not taking too much space when stored.

Ordered 3 different flooring cutters from Amazon along with this one. The vevor was not only the lowest priced, but most functional. I was completely surprised how smooth it cut (8mm SPC flooring - the harder stone core flooring) and how well it was constructed. Completed about 1,000sf and blade still cuts smoothly. Comes with sharpening stone but would like to know if blade is compatible with others on Amazon or if Vevor has one. HIGHLY Recommend - do not hesitate. BTW- I have had very good luck with Vevor products esp industrial grade items. Even installed a Vevor exhaust hood for a remodel job and it was very good for price (except the tacky label they put on it).

Worked flawlessly on about 900 sq. ft. of laminate. Very well built. Don't buy an expensive laminate blade for your, get this instead. Much faster and much less mess.

This is a great product. I am remodeling my basement and it makes cutting the flooring easy. Features are great. Only comment would be if there was an alignment mark to help ensure straight cuts when not using the alignment guide. I added a sharpie mark as a guide and it was a help but it was not perfect.

Highly recommend even for a small room. Far better than scribing with a blade and snapping. The rip cuts are a bit tricky which makes sense as you have to work your way down the panel. I found a jigsaw to be easier for the rip cuts.
