This thing is awesome. The smart controller somehow knows just how much to charge, like it is simply plug and play. Im using it once a month to charge the battery in my emergency generator. I used the same 9amp battery for 4 years. Started the gen every month and let it run for an hour. Everything was great. Then I left the gen for three months without starting and it wouldn't start so used the pull cord. Not much room in the gen shed so I smacked my hand a couple times before it started. The gen ran for an hour but after shutting it off the battery didnt have enough poop to start the engine. So I ordered a new battery, which was an ordeal. Anyway, I saw your ad fir these solar panels and regulator and chose the one that was appropriate for the battery size. After hooking it all up, which was easy, I let it do its thing. Turns out it reconditioned the old battery so it came back to full charge. I unplugged the controller from the gen batt. Wow!!!, did it spin the starter on that gen. I doubt I will need that new battery any time soon, but I will keep it maintained with the small amp trickle charger controller off the solar panel. I find your products very well designed and built. The lift platform to raise the generator up where I can get at things without laying on the ground is awesome. Thanks for great products.

Lo he instalado en el techo de mi garaje y funciona perfectamente. Mantiene la batería de mi coche cargada al máximo aunque no lo utilice en un mes.

Veldig grei pakke, jeg monterte på båten for å holde startbatteriet topp ladet. Lensepumpe har tidligere tappet så mye strøm at batteriet ble tomt for strøm, håper dette unngås med dette solcellepanelet og regulator. Har ikke hatt det så lenge i drift men det ser bra ut, og lader godt nå på vinterstid. Ingen start problemer ennå. Skal montere på ATV'n også.

OnlyDo not buy any of these solar panel kits that comes with a MPPT Controller if you are needing to mount it on a trailer that has no dry storage. The MPPT Controller is NOT IP67 RATED. It has to be mounted in a dry place that can vent. I purchased this unit for a gooseneck dump trailer that does not have any dry storage compartments because the item description said IP67 rated. The only thing that is IP67 rated is the solar panel. I would think that all solar panels would be IP67 rated because they have to be outside and are designed for the weather, so I thought the IP67 rating was for the MPPT Controller. But buyer beware, IT IS NOT!!!!!!! Now, I have to return it and look somewhere else for a unit that is completely weather proof.

The overall unit is excellent. the maintainer and controller work great. the stand for the larger panel is not sufficient. i have to remake a more solid stand to attach to a high point. it seems very flimsy and moves around quite a bit. it should have a couple side/bottom sliding anchor points.
