When my Hayward pool pump stopped working I was beside myself. It would cost upwards of $2k to get this fixed for my 26k gallon Roman style inground pool. I searched online for an alternative and came across this Vevor pool pump with the same specs as the failed Hayward, but with a substantially lower price tag. At $130. I was eager to give it a try. I read reviews and was impressed with the recommendations. I ordered the vevor pump and figured I would interchange the impeller as it is compatible to the Hayward. At a substantial savings compared to the Hayward I gave it a chance. I began at 7am and quickly removed the failed Hayward and with a long fillips, a plyers and a 9/16 wrench I took the parts off. I cleaned the parts and also used a new set of gaskets I bought on Amazon for I think $13. The exchange was simple and the only challenge was one electrical wire that goes to the 230v or the 120v connector. The instructions were not clear and I placed the wire end on both connectors. Oops, it went on and immediately shut off. At the moment I could not see the problem so I called my electrician friend and he figured it out. The connector end only goes on one or the other. Once the connector was in the 230v position it started up and ran like a well oiled motor. It has been running now for about two months without any issues. I am very happy with this Vevor brand. I also found that my electric bill has not gone up significantly so again I am really pleased. My only complaint is with that connector wire. It should not fit onto both at the same time the engineers should make it idiot proof to connect. All considered, I am extremely happy with this alternative to the expensive Hayward pump. All spects were equal and at a much lower price. I do recommend that if you order this pump get the one with the impeller already assembled. This will save you the 40 minutes in exchanging the parts. I give it a 5 star rating. I also bought a second to keep on the shelf just Incase I ever need another.

Just installed the pump upon receiving. So far so good. Was wired for 220V which was perfect. Changed the impeller and the seal assembly. I just have to verify if it doesn't leak. Much more quiet than my previous pump which was an Hayward 1.5 HP . Will come back in 2 weeks for an update

Great motor, super quiet and easy to install. Works great… would definitely buy again when ever I need a new pump motor.

Perfect replacement for Hayward very expensive indoor pool pump. Installs in a breeze, basically the same pump as the original Hayward. To replace the original, it would have cost me upwards of 900$. At less than 200$, this is a no brainer decision. Was a little skeptical at first given the huge difference in price but I am happy to have pulled the trigger. Would recommend 100%.

I bought this unit as a replacement for my ''Hayward'' pool and it does a perfect job...The fit was perfect, very easy to connect, the documentation was include and it works great and the best part was the price...A REAL BARGAIN... Highly recommended, thanks again guys...

So far so good. Installed this motor approx. 3 weeks ago with no issue. Has same flow rate as my prior pool pump motor. At about have the cost. Have used Vevor electric motors at work , as direct drop ins for other brands. Overall , I am very pleased at this point.

Bisher ein toller Motor. Mein 2-PS-Einphasenmotor ist vor Kurzem kaputtgegangen und ich wollte einen, der in den gleichen Rahmen passt, also ist es ein Tausch. Hier kam VEVOR ins Spiel, der Preis war sehr erschwinglich und die Bewertungen scheinen gut zu sein. Ich sagte, ich solle ihn ausprobieren, die Anleitung war klar und bisher gab es keinerlei Probleme. Er ist viel leiser als mein vorheriger, die Verarbeitungsqualität ist sehr gut und der Versand war sehr sicher.

Great motor so far. My 2HP single phase motor ended up dying recently and I wanted someone that fit the same frame so it’s a swap. This is where VEVOR came into play, the price was very affordable and reviews seems good. Said let me try it out, instructions were clear and no issues whatsoever so far. It’s much quieter than my previous one, built quality is very good and shipment was very secured.
