ropickym Great value. Works perfect. Quiet motor
1 hp 56Y
Perfect fit. Works like a charm.
I would highly recommend this motor for your pool applications. I have now purchased 3 of these motors from Vevor (in various horsepower’s) to replace bad motors for my pools and friends pools. They are a direct replacement for pentair or Hayward motors (just purchase the correct frame). They work perfect and run as quiet as the motors I replace.
I purchase the 3 year warranty. It’s still way less $$ than a motor from the pool store.
Then I pull the old motor and replace the bearings (which is what goes out 90% of the time) and keep the old motor as a spare.
Great value for this motor. And so far I have seen no issues - and it is still running perfectly quiet. If I have a future problem I will repost this review and see how well the 3 year warranty works.
But given the price, I could buy four of these motors for the price or one Pentair motor.
Currently I am in a “highly recommend” for this product.

Purchased to replace a backup motor that failed due to old age. Great price. Fast delivery. Not in service but have no doubt that it will function perfectly when called upon.

Sneed Great motor but the price is reflected
0.75 hp 56J
This motor has been fantastic and has seriously done so much better than I expected.
Unfortunately the shaft is machined with the slightest of tapers due to deflection of the workpiece when it was turned in the lathe.
I use this motor for a centrifuge and the collar that is made to be fitted to the shaft does not sit perfectly straight due to the taper.
I make it work and I cannot complain for the price, I just wish it was perfect so it worked better for my use case
